Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush Review

Yes, it does help us hide our flaws and feel more beautiful, confident, and glamorous. 😀 But it is important to perfect whichever product we are using as uneven or blotchy application can break our look instead of making it and brushes help us in achieving that perfect look. Having good brushes in our kitty is really important. Today, I have got a brush for you all. Yes, brush phase going on. 😉 But it is an eye shadow brush this time.

My Experience with Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush:

Firstly, a confession – this brush doesn’t belong to me. 😉 This brush is from my sister-in-law’s collection. I noticed this in her stash when she came here for my hubby’s birthday, and I am reviewing this on her behalf. The color attracted my SIL towards it. I had never heard of this brand before and when I asked her why she picked this up even when it is from a relatively unknown brand, her reply really left me in splits – she picked it during her online shopping escapade, just because it was pink!!! 😛

The brush is bright pink in color with a silver ferrule. The brush handle is made of plastic.  Though it really doesn’t look super classy, it does not look very cheap either, and is sturdy. The bristles are 100% synthetic. It really felt like it was made for little girls (kids I mean!!) and is a part of some barbie kit. The bristles are white with pink tips and are soft and tightly packed. There has been no shedding of bristles even after a couple of washes.

The performance of the brush is average. Though bristles are soft and tightly packed, and do not poke the delicate eyelids. The dense bristles are helpful in packing the eyeshadow on the eyelid, but it is not a brush for blending out the shadow as it blends out the whole shadow and we are left with no color on the lids. Also, there is a little bit of fallout while picking up the eye shadow on the brush and also while packing on the lids. So, the performance is pretty average.

The size of the brush is similar to the Colorbar shader brush, so it is comfortable to hold while using.

Pros of Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush:

• Brightly tipped bristles.
• Pretty pink color (though it’s not my favorite color!!)
• Densely packed bristles.
• 100% synthetic bristles.
• Good for placing shadow on lids.
• Sturdy.
• No shedding of bristles.
• Soft bristles, does not pokes the eyes.

Cons of Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush:

• Cannot be used for blending out the eyeshadow.
• Blends out the shadow- removes all the color from the lids.
• Fallout while packing the color on the brush.

Would I Recommend Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush?

The brush is nice and good for packing shadow on the lids, but I still feel it is a bit pricey for that, so you can go for it if you love the color of the brush. 😉

Would I Repurchase Elizabeth Mott All Over Shadow Brush?

Well, this brush doesn’t belong to me, but anyhow, I don’t plan to buy it myself. I feel ELF makes better brushes at one-third price and even Ecotools has better brushes in the same price rage, so I will not be purchasing this for me.
