I have never really been into Elle 18 lipsticks because I always thought that though they are budget-friendly, they will not last long on the lips. But the reviews lately certainly proved it wrong. So I picked up a few shades to review and I will start with the shade “Pinkathon”! Scroll to know how it worked and looked on my lips.

My experience with Elle 18 Color Boost Lip Color Lipstick pinkathon 13 :
Packaging: The Elle 18 lipsticks look very pretty and cute. It has a hot pink lid with their signature design on it. The shade is mentioned at the bottom. The twist mechanism works very well and the cap closes with a click. The lipsticks from them are very handy and will fit into the pocket too. The price is just unbelievable. I mean they offer such awesome quality and shades at this price. So no flaws with the packaging at all!
Shade, pigmentation and finish: The shade “Pinkathon” is a gorgeous deep plum maroon colour. It just looks like a silky maroon velvet on the lips. But the shade name pinkathon is a bit misleading because there is no pink in it; it is a pure maroon shade. The shade adds an instant glow to my face and makes my complexion look brighter. It is a bold and a dark shade so it totally draws away the attention from my imperfections.
The shade is one amazing one that will suit all the skin-tones well and will look amazing for parties, weddings and the festive season. The pigmentation is really good as I can see the shade on my lips in the very first swipe. It will cover pigmented lips beautifully. It has a brilliant semi matte finish which turns into a matte one in a few minutes.
Staying power: The lipstick stays on my lips for 5 to 6 hours with the colour gradually fading. Even after 5 hours, it does not go away completely.
The maroon stain stays on my lips forever till the time I remove it. It does not cling to chapped potions nor does it settle in fine lines. It transfers a bit but that is okay.
Overall, an amazing deal cracked!

Directions: Apply by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.
