Keeping up the spirit of the Elle18 trend with so many reviews past week, 😛 I thought I will buy some more and review the shades that we haven’t seen much :p That is another story that I ended up buying a lot more shades that have been reviewed and were on my mind but I managed to buy a few that we haven’t seen around.
This one is just what the name says, it is red, and trust me it is a very pretty warm red and I fell in love with this one. The shade has no shimmer, it is not thick but has a light creamy texture and it is very pigmented.
I love the packaging too and of course the price 😛 I dont expect wonders from a 100 rupees lipstick but some shades they have really blew me over, I think we should buy backups of some shades and this red if one of them.
The core is white and has this apparently moisture core to it, I think I am fine with it but I might have wanted some solid color it instead of this white core but never mind 😛 I am happy with what I got and I think this will break soon too and then I will have to use a lip brush for it and then it will finish soon.
One swipe is enough for this, it is awesome in pigmentation and it is the right red, not loud but still brightens my face, I love it because it works for my skin tone very well. It keeps lips soft and moisturized and the finish is a soft creamy one, not really glossy but still does not go matte and it looks very pretty.
It will be great for pigmented lips and for dry lips as well,this stayed on very long like 3 plus hours hence I can say it is not as sheer like a few others from this range and it fades softly leaving a soft red tint which I love!
I have to agree the shade might be a little mature but it is very sophisticated and I love the soft finish too, the major problem I have with these is the sweet vanilla smell, I don’t like vanilla in my makeup at all, and these are so brittle and delicate, you need to store in the fridge and use with a brush or else they are as good as gone.
