Elle 18 Flamingo Manavi Color Pops Lipstick Review

Here’s a quick review of a lipstick from the brand “Elle 18.” I love these lipsticks from Elle 18, so affordable and cute!

Price:
120 INR for 4.3 gm.

Ingredients:
Cocoa butter and jojoba oil are mentioned, complete ingredients are missing.

My Experience with Elle 18 Flamingo Manavi Color Pops Lipstick:

Packaging: This lipstick comes in a black plastic tube, with a black cap that has the graphic of a girl. I find the packaging extremely cute, though it is flimsy. I would’ve liked if the lipstick was color coded, since it would easy to locate the shades. The shade name and number are printed on a sticker at the bottom of the tube.

Shade: This one is a beautiful coral pink lipstick. It does have some orange tone to it and will flatter flatter fair to medium skin tones really well. In the bullet, the shade appears neon, but on the lips, it doesn’t look that bold. This lipstick bullet looks messy because the bullet had stuck up into the cap and I had a hard time sticking it back together.

Texture:  The lipstick bullet has two parts, a balmy core surrounded by the actual color. The texture of the lipstick is lightweight, layering will make it bleed. It feels light on the lips. Even though it does not settle in fine lines, it tends to dry out lips eventually. Application goes a bit patchy compared to other shades from this range.

Pigmentation: The color intensity is pretty average. Nevertheless, the intensity can be obtained to the desired level. I’d say the pigmentation is average. It doesn’t have any shimmer, but gives a satiny and juicy finish.

Staying Power:  Again, just like other shades, even this one, it’s no different when it comes to transferring. Even the slightest of touch and it transfers everywhere. It hardly stays for 2.5 hours or so and left a pink tint after disappearing. It fades from the middle of the lip when you have light snacks and drinks. The transferring part is really annoying. It is such a pain to see all the cups and spoons with the lipstick print, not to mention the embarrassment.

• Packaging may feel flimsy.
• Transfers crazily!
• Staying power could have been better.
