It comes in a sleek tube, which is sturdy and easy to carry. Since it is not bulky, I can easily carry it in my bags. The nozzle is securely closed with the cap ensuring no leakage occurs. The narrow opening helps in controlling the amount of product.
My Experience with Essence Clear and Matt Oil Free Makeup:
The foundation consistency is extremely light and easily applicable. Being neither thick nor runny, it is easy to blend this. The texture is suitable for normal skin. I got foundation in the shade “Honey,” although I am fair. Porcelain would be more suitable for girls with cooler undertones, while “Honey” is for warm undertones. The shade choice is limited though.
The fragrance is typical of foundations and not very bothersome. On a clean exfoliated face, I use this and blend it gently using fingertips. The best thing is that it looks natural without any artificial or heavy feeling. My shade blends seamlessly with my skin and doesn’t look cakey.
It makes my face radiant and fairer. The coverage is rather light and sheer, and does not conceal major flaws. The even finish it gives is not completely matte and rather a bright glowing one. I have oily skin which turns normal in winters and this is a blessing for me. My acne marks get lightly covered, but using a concealer underneath does the trick. The photographs come out well with this foundation.
The staying power is around 4 hours, without a primer or setting powder. It did not turn oily, rather just my T-zone showed a bit of shine after 4.5 hours. So, using this would naturally increase the longevity by 2-3 hours. I use it with compact powder and do not need any touch up for 7-8 hours.
Dry skin beauties can opt for a good absorbing moisturizer before using this. It is best for normal-oily skinned girls in the wedding season who want a light coverage and radiant glow, not to forget if they are on a budget. This is best for BB cream lovers for creating a natural finish for regular wear.
