Summers are back! It’s time to flaunt all possible colours to make the heat bearable. I saw these Essence pencils online, but did not want to pay half of the product’s price as shipping charges. So when I got a chance to visit the beauty store, I immediately purchased two of these pencils. Let’s see whether they nail it or not!

My Experience with Essence Kajal Pencil – 25 Feel The Mari-Time:

Packaging: These kajal pencils come colour coded so they are very easy to spot in your stash. The wooden pencil can be sharpened but they come without one. The cap is silver in colour. Details are printed around the body in silver along with shade number and name. Overall the packaging is sleek and cute.

Colour/pigmentation: I like the name of the product and it instantly gives you the beachy feeling. When I saw it online, it looked like ocean blue without glitter and shimmer. In reality it is turquoise blue that is metallic. I love how gorgeous this colour looks. It is very pigmented and you do not need to go in again. One swipe is all you need to line your eyes. Beautiful colour to sport in summers!

Texture: The texture of this kajal pencil is so smooth it feels like applying butter. And like our beloved butter this one’s too soft. It melts so easily. It glides on very easily without tugging or pulling but I have to be very careful while applying it because it’s so soft it breaks off with little pressure. I cannot keep this outside in hot summers. I have to keep it in the refrigerator. It smudges very very easily and it spreads when rubbed.

Staying power: It will stay for 4-5 hours if you do not rub your eyes. It starts fading after 3 hours. The staying power is very average.

For the price it’s a decent product. I love the colour very much. I wouldn’t repurchase this again though!
