Essence Love Talk Mono Eyeshadow Review

The weather is all eased up over here and I’ve been enjoying my vacations. I got a few goodies from Essence, some of them have been reviewed already. Let me review this shade in ‘love talk’.

My experience with Essence Love Talk Mono Eyeshadow:

These eye shadows come in cute little round cases that are easy to carry around. ‘Love talk’ is a pretty khaki green with silver and green shimmer in it. I really like khaki green when it comes to liners and eye shadows, though I am not much into the latter. I also love the cute design on the pan that makes my heart melt every time I have to touch the cake

The pigmentation is pretty good and is very buildable. The deep green is almost lost due to the presence of way too much silver shimmer and it ends up losing its grace. The green turns out to be cooler toned than expected and looks much silver.

This shade looks better in the pan rather than when swatched. The shimmer just fallout all over and a primer is a total must. The texture somewhat felt slightly gritty due to the shimmery particles, but otherwise it sure goes smooth. Wear time of this shade is not too good; it stayed around for 3 hours after which it fades. It blends easily and the color can be build up too; the depth of green is lost though. My only major concern is the fallout issue that I dislike; otherwise this is a great color to own.

Would I recommend/re-purchase Essence Love Talk Mono Eyeshadow ?
Yes, of course. This is a great color to own and is apt for day and night looks too. Only issue is the fallout, which can be controlled to an extent. This would be worth a try .
