My Experience with Essence Marble Mania Mascara Michael’s Black or Silver:
The name of the mascara seemed intriguing, and that’s why I picked this mascara. It comes in a plastic tube which has black, white and silver prints arranged in a marble pattern. The tube has a silver coloured screw cap. The cap has a plastic applicator with a long and thin mascara wand. The bristles of the brush separate the lashes very well. The tube is pretty and sturdy.
I thought there would be something different about this mascara, but it’s a normal black-colored mascara. It is not intense black though and gives a matte kind of look. There are silver shimmers in the mascara. You can see them in the hand swatch, but they are really not visible on the lashes. It enhances the lengths of the lashes and adds volume as well. But too much layering weighs down the lashes. The eyes looked wide open too.
The texture of the mascara is thick actually and it felt somewhat dry. It is not even creamy, it feels dry actually. The application is easy and mess-free. The mascara is waterproof and smudge-proof up to some extent. It does not clump at all.
The staying power is 5-6 hours. My eyes look pretty with this mascara.
Overall, it is a normal black mascara, there is nothing special about it. So, I am not much impressed because I thought that it would be different from normal mascaras. Also, the consistency is disappointing.
