Essence Soufflé Touch Blush in Frozen Strawberry Review

Essence Soufflé Touch Blush in Frozen Strawberry

Hello Cupcakes!!

Today I am here to review a cream blush from Essence, this is my first product from this brand and of course got to know about it here at IMBB only. I know I should not write in the beginning itself, but this is the worst blush (or I would rather say the worst product), I have ever used in my life. Continue reading why it proved to be so disappointing.

My Experience with Essence Soufflé Touch Blush

This is my first cream blush, I was always impressed by the NYX and Maybelline ones and wanted to buy one for myself too, and so one day when I saw this I instantly picked it up. As you can see the price is comparable to other brands but the quality is not even near to the others. Let me first start with the packing, it looks so cheap as you can see in the photos, (or may be the one I got , looks so cheap and dirty), made out of cheap quality plastic.

I was expecting the color to be light pinkish type, but it turned out to be natural pink shade with silver pigments in it, not my type at all. The texture looks creamy and soufflé like and but does not at all feel smooth. It is infact so crumbly and sticky. I have tried the Maybelline dream blush and true to its name it spreads like dream, which is not the case with this product. I have tried to use it with fingers, no matter how much you try it does not spread at all; it starts to get crumbled and does nothing (as you can clearly see in the photos).
It does not give any kind of color pay-off, I mean literally no color. So I tried layering it, but even after 3-4 attempts I could not get any color pay-off infact I was left with lot of dry residue on my fingers. Just imagine applying it on your face over foundation, what it will do your make-up *sigh* *sigh*.

No pros for me

Cons of Essence Soufflé Touch Blush in Frozen Strawberry

• Texture is not all creamy and soufflé like. It starts to crumble up
• The product gets dried up so fast, one has to work really fast to get some color, in my case I could not even do that
• It leaves a lot of dry residue on your fingers when you try to layer it
• Very poor pigmentation
• Smells awful, gets on my nerves
• Total waste of money

Overall guys this is a real product form this brand. This is my first and most probably last product. I do not know if the product that I have got is defective but I am very disappointed.
