Today’s review is about Essence XXXL Lipgloss in the shade 36 Popping Pink. Recently, I realised that I do not own a lot of lip gloss and hence, there was a reason to shop for them. Here’s the review of one such affordable yet a performing Lip Gloss.

My Experience with Essence XXXL Shine Lipgloss #36Popping Pink:
The Essence Lip Gloss is very affordable. The packaging looks good from the outside. The applicator is also quite stiff and flexes a little when you apply the gloss on the lips. I have noticed that the print on the packaging disappears after a few days. The name also gets erased due to regular usage and one might feel hard to recall the name if you want to repurchase.
I always feel that the lipgloss bleeds. So, I make sure that I apply a little quantity and reapply when needed. I also prefer to use lip gloss during vacations or outings and not to work. I prefer matte lipsticks more suitable for work. That is totally a personal preference.
As the name suggests, this lip gloss is pink in color. It has no shimmer particles. The color actually suited my dusky skin tone. I used it during my vacation in India and got few compliments too. The color payoff is quite good. It hides the pigmented lips.
The staying power is around 2 hours. But, I always carried it around and reapplied when required. The product also gets easily transferred while drinking or eating. But, I guess that is the case with most of the lip glosses. Since I was on vacation, I didn’t mind reapplying every 2 hours or so. But, if it were a party it would not be practical. So, one has to decide if you prefer to reapply or not and then buy the product.
The product has a mildly sweet fragrance to it. The fragrance lasts for few minutes and then it will not bother you. The lip gloss does not leave the lips moisturised. I had to moisturise my lips well during the night. Overall, I am satisfied with the product and the results. It’s not the best but does the job for its price.

I love to try different lip products so would not repurchase. It’s not the best but, if you are looking for something to try, you can consider it.
