Estee Lauder Blue Dahlia Eye Makeup Tutorial

Estee Lauder Blue Dahlia Eye Makeup Tutorial

Among the 5 shades in the Blue Dahlia Palette, I have used only 4 for this eye makeup look. May be, I’ll do one more look  using the same palette. Hope you like it. 🙂

Start by priming the eye lid. Also give a wash of loose powder all over the lid.

Now using a flat shader brush pick the blue dahlia colour from the palette.

Pack the blue dahlia eye shadow all over the lid. You may leave the over outer corner of the eye if you want to.

On a fluffy brush pick up a midnight blue colour.

And place this right above the crease blending it with the blue dahlia eye shadow.

Like so. Also keep the maximum colour on the outer corner and lesser as you move inward.

With the same brush pick the matte black eye shadow.

Place the black eye shadow just on the outer corner of the eye and blend it inward. Move your brush in small circles. This will make eye shadow blending easy.

ON a fluffy brush pick some loose powder and blend the edges.

Now mix the midnight blue and black eye shadow on a pencil brush…

Apply this on your lower lash liner. Stop at two third.

Now pick the white eye shadow. This is the least pigmented of all. you don’t get any white colour when you apply it, just pretty teal blue shimmers. This works for me. I avoid using white eye shadows.

Apply the highlight eye shadow on the inner corner.

Line your eyes, curl lashes and apply mascara.

Just use any nude highlight under the brow arch. Blend it.

And there you have your eye makeup look using Estee Lauder Blue Dahlia Eyeshadow palette.

I kept face makeup every light. Just a matte pink blush and a pink lip gloss.

I found a little fall out with the dark eye shadows in Estee Lauder Blue Dahlia Palette. So do apply loose under your eyes. The colours are stunning. The blend into each other like butter. I barely took 5-7 minutes to do one eye. There was just barely any blending to do. 🙂

The midnight blue is not as intense as I expected it to be but I think that’s how it is made. The main focus is on the blue dahlia shade. Def recommend this palette . 🙂
