Estée Lauder invites you to Your Beauty. Your Style. Your Profile. event that will help you with simple makeup looks that make you look just right for just the right site. Then a professional will take your photo, provide you a hard copy, and even e-mail it to you so you can immediately upload it to your social network profile, cell phone or smart phone !
I got invited to the Estee Lauder event today at Select City walk. The event goes on for next two days. Today was mainly for media people- beauty editors, bloggers, magazines etc. Next two days are totally dedicated to all people who wan to enjoy the Estee Lauder experience. Some of the features of the event are:
- You get a free “signature two minute makeup” by trained professionals of Estee Lauder.
- Get to know your skin tone. I mean wow!
- You get to interact about your skin and beauty issues with the staff.
- Get to learn the basic beauty techniques from the makeup artists.
- Loads of stuff to test and try at the store.
- Get clicked by a professional photographer.
- Get an instant photograph print out .
- It’s FREE.
The Estee lauder’s event is on for 13th and 14th March, 2010 at Estee Lauder’s Store in Select City Walk, New Delhi.
I had a ball covering the event. In fact, I met someone who knew about my blog. How cool is that? I had already had my two minute makeup done the last time I met the Estee Lauder’s staff so, this time I wanted to spend time learning more about the brand and stuff. After hours of clicking and chit-chatting, I thought I’d atleast get my touch up done and guess what? There were people from Telegraph Calcutta to cover the event and they started clicking my makeup shots. The whole day I was running away from getting clicked and look where I got stuck. lol!!
I also met Ambika, who writes a blog on Vogue. She loves makeup, fashion, music and her chocolate-vanilla latte. Today I got obsessed with her nails ( see pics below)- she mixed two colours, one from OPI and other from colorbar and came up with a drooling shade.

Estee Lauder has also introduced the concept of engraved signature on your favourite products. You may get your name or anything engraved on your lipstick or beauty bottle. The service is free, you only have to play for the product.

This more or less covered the thing for today. It was mainly the people from magazines, newspapers and blogs for today. All the people that you see in the pics were there to cover the event. The real fun is going to be tomorrow and day after when the real people would come. I think EL has already sent the invites to a lot of people for the weekend. My job is done.

hope u did ur usual product research there.. so that u can give us an idea about the price range.. havent ever bought from there but since i saw in some magazine about their engraving products thing.. am dying to buy a lippie from there..
Yes, I did.
Lippies are fab and magnascopic mascara is to die for. 
It’s a high end brand so the price range mainly starts from 1000 and above. The highest I guess they have gone is Rs 33,000
I am soon going to stock in one of their perfumes. They are in the range of Rs 2000 and above but every penny worth it.
Thats cool.. i think ill be going in for one of the lippies too.. but since my name is too long thinking of what to get inscribed on my lippie.. maybe PRI.. will surely update u wen i get them..
May be you could get “Diva” inscribed on your lippy.

By the way, at Estee Lauder they have a lot of free services such as a peeling or two minute makeup. Just ask for those and do avail these services. These guys have no discount policy worldwide or else I would have got the discount availed for my readers. Never mind.
