Estee Lauder Nude Peach Shimmer Pure Color Crystal Lipstick Review

I have used many Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipsticks and have been fairly satisfied every time, but this was my first from the Rouge Crystal range and also the first which disappointed me remarkably. I was attracted by the packaging which is very chic and attractive(though I truly feel Estee Lauder starts experimenting with more cool and chic packaging so that they can attract the younger crowd). I did not own any nude lipstick those days, so I thought why not start with this, big brand, color looks sheer and lovely, worth trying it out. Little did I know that I would just never wear it when I step out of home. In fact the only time I wore it , I decided to not dare step out of home. Now let me divulge details to help you take a decision if you plan to purchase it.

The packaging is royal. The golden case looks so classy and beautiful. ES is engraved on the case making it look and feel like you are carrying a piece of luxury with you. Part of it is see through .

My Experience with Estee Lauder Nude Peach Shimmer Pure Color Crystal Lipstick :

It is a nude peach shade with tiny golden shimmer on it. Sounds fancy but I am not a fan of this shade honestly or maybe it just does not look good on me. Although, the texture is very creamy, it still clumps on my dry lips make it look even more noticeable particularly when I swipe the second time to increase the opacity. Nude lipsticks are supposed to give you a natural nude color to the lips making it look more presentable but it does just the opposite to me. I do not know how long the lipstick lasts because in a couple of hours it looked weird on my lips and I had to remove it. If I had to flaunt a natural look, I would probably just use a lip balm instead of using such an expensive lipstick to make me look only worse. I am a fan of MAC Ravishing which is similar to Nude Peach shimmer yet brightens my face naturally. My only suggestion if you do get it is wear it during daytime, it is less worse than wearing it when it is dark.The only time I wore it, my mom asked me several times if I was feeling sick(because I looked like I was).

Pros of Estee Lauder Nude Peach Shimmer Pure Color Crystal Lipstick:

• Packaging is superb.
• The case closes with a click and is tight enough to be carried around freely without any issues.
• It does not have a significant fragrance or taste to it.
• Pigmented color but would look better on non-pigmented light pink lips.
• The cutting edge technology they use in making their products.

Cons of Estee Lauder Nude Peach Shimmer Pure Color Crystal Lipstick:

• Highlights dry lips.
• Washes out the face.
• Does not suit Indian skin tones.
• It is very expensive.
• Fruit-scented so people not liking fragrance on the lips would hate it, although the smell is not all that strong.
