Eyelashes grow? As in if they fall off, do they grow back? I guess you meant do they get longer..never thought about this…do they???? :idk: :idk: off to the mirror to check
Yes, lashes keep growing even after 25. Whether they grow well into old age, I’ll have to look that up. Your lashes, much like the hair on your head, come out of roots, grow fall off and make way for new lashes!
There are a lot of lash-growth promoting serums available on the market now.
While it is up to your doctor to diagnose whether you suffer from a condition where your lash growth is significantly less than it should be, you can still request him/her for a prescription.
One such product is Latisse, you can look up reviews for it online. I am not sure if it is available in India yet, but since there are a lot of competent Indian pharmaceutical companies, I am sure there will be something on the market soon (if there isn’t already.)
As for home remedies, I have heard putting almond oil, castor oil or coconut oil on your lashes will promote their growth. I have not personally tried any of these methods, so I can’t vouch for them.

Devika’s right. Oils do promote lash growth. I’ve personally tried caster oil and it works. My lashes looked super long for a while, but it only works if you use the oils consistently. When I stopped using it, lashes were back to normal length in a while. Also, if you do use caster oil, make sure you apply it carefully, coz it stings a lot if it gets into the eyes. I learnt that the hard way

but have also heard the adage “burning midnight oil” used in conjunction with castor :p how is one supposed to sleep then?! ?:-)

yes..i also have heard about caster oil and almond oil that can help to grow our lashes.

btw, I see where Devika is coming from. quite logical. but again there must be like a certain length associated with your genes and no matter what, dont think it would grow more than that? much the same with the hair on ur head!
we need some scientific answers for this – anyone from some biology background here?
