Eyetex Dazzler Lipstick finds: Lipsticks in number 054 Lip Preety and number 041 Lip Chic :)

When I moved to Chennai, I was keen to try a local brand called eyetex dazzler as I had often seen commercials on southie channels and also on others a couple of times. Eyetex has been manufacturing kajal and kumkum for a long time and has ventured into color cosmetics off late trying hard to keep up with trends but as matter of fact they still lag far behind. They do have a lot variety for lipsticks and kajal and nail paints at a very affordable cost which makes it easy for makeup maniacs like me to get something new every week. These are easily available at the local supermarket and may be even grocery store. A store close to my house also has lakme as a neighbour to this brand. This may be half the rate of lakme though and one third in terms of quality(or may be lesser)but its always so much fun to pick up some time pass from this brand when I go grocery shopping, some fun nail polish which I can use a couple of time and dump it later. None of these are matte. Its not too bad for a price of 30 to be honest and fabulous variety for nail art and fun experimental colours if u don’t want to hurt the pocket and have recently ventured into the color makeup category(as in neon nail colours n fuchsia lippy)

Being a lipstick girl, I had to lay my hand on a few of these. They have a variety of them in various packaging but the classification is mmm…no comments. Also, they have book with lipstick filled plastic lips in a row to chose the shades form its one confusing business I tell you but it is cheap thrill to get one and realize at home that it is even better than the swatch book (it is literally a book , which you can open to see the colours) being a lover of rust lipsticks. I picked up what I found to be closest to brick. And I was not disappointed by the shade. The quality is a different issue. These lipsticks have funny names and you can even see them on the website of eyetex labs. This is just a fun review about my experience with eyetex lipsticks. The only two I have in the old lakme style brown packaging.Oh my god, if you see the packaging you will be nostalgic about when your mom used to have those lakme lipsticks. There is something funnily interesting about these old style makeup from eyetex. If you have access to these you can just pick up the shades directly without having to explore, if you like these. :)

About the lipstick 054 lip preety:
Price rs 95 for 4 gram
Old style brown slender packaging …

This is a golden brownish very mild frost/glaze beige color and I was very happy to have picked up this nude color as it had looked horribly brick in the book. But when I opened the seal I wasn’t disappointed as I can surely make use of this one any which way, and its great to tone down dark browns that I may have. On its own it doesn’t show much to be honest, the pigmentation is very average though it is smooth enough for me. The packaging is sturdy and I haven’t had a problem with that. The staying power is just say two hours in my case like any light wear lipstick. I don’t mind that either. It is just a time pass fun color fo0r less than a 100 rs.thats it! and to top it all its surprisingly creamy!

About the lipstick 041 lip chic(what funny names but at least some one took pains to name them and not just leave them with numbers)
This is a reddish brick color, smooth enough for me. The pigmentation is good too and I love to mix them both to tone it down. Another fun color and an addition to my bricks. Not too bad on the pocket either for a lipstick hoarder.

Last word:
These are good lipsticks for Rs 95 I would say if you can find a nice shade. Don’t expect too much from it in terms of pigmentation and staying power, just use it a fun color without breaking your heart over it. If you want to explore some fuchsia territories, you can try these as they have many pink variants. No complaints for the price I paid. Obviously these are very everyday afforadable lippies!

I have used these years ago, and they’re decent quality for the price. Even the shade selection is good. Only issue I had was the strong smell. Does it still have a strong scent? BTW, the rust shade is lovely.
