My Experience with Fa Amaranth Elixir and Black Orchid Glamorous Moments Shower Cream:
Regarding the packaging, it’s very similar to Dove body wash with respect to shape and lid packaging. It looks a little bulky due to the bigger quantity, but still it’s easy to hold and use. The packaging is made of plastic and it is easy to squeeze the product. It has a flap lid on top which opens and closes with ease. The cap is sturdy and when closed, it’s tight enough and won’t accidentally spill any product. It’s a very important factor to consider when carrying such things during travel. So, it’s travel safe.
I couldn’t find a smaller pack and hence bought the bigger one. The bigger one I have is not handy to travel with. I would have preferred a smaller one for reasons like baggage weight and space. But would recommend it if you are travelling for a long time, and sharing it with your partner or family. The shower cream is glossy golden in color. I love the color of this one. It gives a “glamorous” feel. Thankfully it’s not white like regular body washes.
The fragrance is that of black orchid. The fragrance is not very strong, and doesn’t linger around for long after the shower. This way the fragrance doesn’t interfere with your body cream’s fragrance. The product claims to have the magical potion of Amaranth. Amaranth is a great source of lysine which is an important amino acid. The product lathers very well. I have to use very little (around a coin size) for my entire body. A little goes a long way.
Even when washed with water the product gets off the skin easily. The product doesn’t leave the skin dry or stretchy. It leaves the skin soft and smooth. I am currently using this every day and it’s pretty cold here; I still don’t see my skin drying out. So it’s safe to claim that it suits dry skin and is also suitable for cold months. It’s not an expensive product either. As a matter of fact, it costs much less than Dove and Nivea body washes. Considering the price and other pros, I would rate it as a good body wash. If you are on a budget, go for it. It’s definitely worth a try.
