I am reviewing aface wash for a change, I had bought it a while ago and I knew from day one that I am not fond of this one, I had kept it aside but off late tried it again and here goes my review.

This range from fabindia has a cream and a shampoo too and I believe the whole silk thing would be tempting for any one. I picked up the cream too and I use it as a body cream . This one of course badly reminds me of some shampoo I might have used out of a sachet I dont know why. The bottle is nice and functional, it comes in a pump dispenser and little amount of the product is dispensed at one go. It has a tiny cap which people like me will lose faster than you would know, so no complaints there with the bottle.

The wash like I said reminds me of a shampoo, like a bad shampoo. It feels all slippery and slick in the name of silk and you can see that too.The texture is creamier than other washes and it has more of that slippery feel, I dont know what it is but they call it Sericin on the pack.

You need very less amount and as you lather it gets creamier and if you massage it on, it kind of seeps into the skin, basically its the slippery feel that makes you feel it is creamier.I had a tough time removing it with water,here the water is brackish, and it is already slippery, so after washing as well, I could feel that taut slippery feel on my skin, I have oily skin and I don’t like the fact that some residues are left behind on my skin.So I think dry skin with regular water might not have this problem.

It does a regular cleansing job and removes very mild makeup like powder.It leaves the skin a teeny bit softer because of the residue left behind but otherwise I could see no visible difference in my skin tone or otherwise.I can only say that dry skin could try it but I am not in a position to recommend it as I feel I have applied some shampoo on my face.It smells of some cheap rose soap and I am not fond of it either.
