Face Pack for Glowing Skin: Do It Yourself

Hi everyone,

Suddenly I have been finding myself so occupied both on the personal as well as the professional front, things have settled down a bit now and I am back to writing reviews. Midst all the stress which I went through my skin has sort of become tired so I have resorted to tried and tested home made packs which my grandmother told me once. I shall be sharing the recipe of one such home made mask today. Please note I have oily and acne prone skin. You may change/add/omit a few of the ingredients as per your skin type.

Sieve flour and extract choker from it. Add raw milk to it. The face pack is of a thicker consistency so be careful while adding milk.

Mix both well, now add a pinch of turmeric to it.

Lastly, add the saffron strands. After adding the saffron strands let it rest for 15-20 mins so that saffron gets completely absorbed.

Tada! Your face pack is ready. Put it on the face and keep it for 10-15 minutes. Wash the face by slightly scrubbing it off.

This face pack cum mild scrub is excellent for tired skin as it refreshes the skin and imparts a glow. If used thrice a week, it shall impart a subtle glow and will keep the skin young.
Until next time, stay fresh and keep glowing.

Doesn’t the milk make the skin oily?

Reply

Shivani December 4, 2012 at 9:23 am

no, rene it doesn’t….whatever be the skin type, doctors always recommend the usage of moisturisers so this face pack provides just enough hydration, your skin shall not feel oily at all.

Hi Shivani! Thank you for this fabulous DIY! :)
My mom asks me to drink milk with saffron for getting that glow, but I prefer adding them o my face packs :) I guess this pack will do well for dry skin.
