Today I have for you a review on one of the many fresh shades brought up by Faces Canada in the form of Glam On color perfect lipstick, I have picked up a shade in 01 Berry Tempt. Let’s read on how this new collection fared on me.

Experience the effortless glide over lips for a smooth, rich appearance. Specially formulated to be stable at high temperatures (Why do we have these Indian summers?). The most complete lipstick, ever. Period.”

Packaging: The packaging of the lipstick is simple yet classy; it comes in a safely packed outer cardboard black color box with details of brand and ingredients written over it, and the bullet body is metallic black and silver in color, the lipstick has color coded stickers both on the outer box and inside at the bottom of the lipstick. The cap closes tightly with a click, and will not come off easily.

My take on Faces Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick Berry Tempt:

Shade, Texture and Pigmentation: Berry Tempt is a cool toned purplish pink or berry toned pink shade, with some bluish undertones to it, basically it appears a mauvish pink on lips, in my opinion the shade will suit fair to dusky skin toned beauties. The color can be worn both in day and at night time too. When worn during the night, it appears pinker with slight touch of mauve. The name Berry Tempt almost justifies the shade.

Texture of the lipstick is creamy and very smooth; it glides on lips without any difficulty. And the finish is creamy matte kind, the moisturization of this range is not great like those ultra moist ones, but it’s really close. Being a creamy matte lipstick there has been no compromising with the moisturization level of the lipstick. It provides great moisturization on my normal lips and keep my lips hydrated throughout. It gives the feeling of soft and supple lips. But I can say that extremely dry lip beauties wouldn’t feel the great moisturization.

The pigmentation of the lipstick is awesome; it acquires the perfect thickness and opacity in single swipe even on pigmented lips. The color can be layered on easily without looking cakey.

Staying Power: The staying power of the lipstick is very average; it stays on for 2 – 2.5 hours, without any eating. After eating anything it’s half gone from the lips and doesn’t leave any stain behind. Being on the creamy side, it transfers very easily into anything. The texture, finish and pigmentation, and the staying power remind me of the Lord & Berry intensity lipsticks.

Pros of Faces Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick Berry Tempt:

• A perfect shade to wear at day & night.
• Will suit almost every skin tone.
• Texture is very creamy & smooth.
• The finish is semi matte.
• Moisturization is really awesome.
• Pigmentation is good; one swipe gives full color on lips.
• Layering doesn’t make it look cakey.
• The lipstick won’t bleed a bit.

Cons of Faces Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick Berry Tempt:

• For the price, the staying power of the lipstick is very low.
• Doesn’t survive meals.

Recommendation/ Re-purchase: The creamy texture of the lipstick does alters the staying power, but all over it a nice lipstick and worth a try. Yes, I’ll surely recommend this shade to everyone; it’s a perfect shade for all age groups. And a good substitute of matte lipsticks for dry lip beauties, and if you are a lover of creamy mattes, this range is definitely for you.

I’ll try the other shades, especially for review purpose.
