FacesCcosmetics have upgraded their cosmetic line impressively, and I must say that their lipstick and the shades that they offer have made this brand one of my favourite especially for lipsticks. I was really impressed with their ultime pro range and when I noticed this new range of lipsticks at their counter, I couldn’t stop myself from trying out at least one lipstick from this range. The sales assistant’s claim that this is a long lasting lipstick, encouraged me more in getting this lipstick. (I’m so crazy for lipsticks that I just need a simple reason to get one 😉 ). So today I will be reviewing a new lipstick from the Faces Glam on color perfect lipstick range in the shade Miami Night.

My experience with Faces Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick in Miami Night:

Faces Glam on color perfect lipstick comes in an outer black cardboard packaging that holds the details pertaining to the product. The outer carton opens to reveal the gorgeous lipstick inside that comes in a black and gold tube with a reflective finish covered in a transparent casing and a transparent cap. I like it that you can see the lipstick shade through the cap, which makes it easy to spot the lip color you want to pick out from your makeup stash, in case you have more than one lipstick from the range. The cap snaps on snugly, making it travel-friendly. The shade name is mentioned on the color coded bottom sticker of the lipstick tube. The packaging is attractive and very different to all their other lipsticks.

Miami Night is a gorgeous orange colour which leans a little towards coral. It is a bright summery lipcolor with absolutely no shimmer or sheen. You can skip any other makeup when you apply this shade of lipstick, as this color alone can make you look nice and fresh. Though it is a bright shade, it is quite wearable and isn’t neon. This shade will look fabulous on all skin toned beauties.

The texture feels extremely nice on the lips. There is no pulling or tugging experienced with this lipstick. The texture of this lip colour is really smooth and soft on application. It is soft, but not the creamy-soft kind that crumbles easily. Once you have this lipstick on your lips- it feels moisturizing and creamy on your lips- but after a while the color settles down to a semi- matte finish. So you need to make sure that your lips are thoroughly exfoliated prior to its application, in order to avoid the color in settling down in the dry patchy areas of the lips once the lipstick sets.

This lipcolour is amazingly pigmented and one swipe gives true colour to the lips covering the lip pigmentation totally. Even on layering the lipstick with multiple swipes, it feels really light on the lips, like as though you have nothing on your lips. The color does transfer a little on eating and drinking- but you will still be left with a lot of color left on your lips.

The staying power of the lipstick is really good. This lipsticks lasts for a good 6-7 hours on the lips with gradual and even fading. The sales assistant had mentioned that this lipstick would last long, but I really didn’t expect it to last this long. The color stains the lips beautifully that lasts even longer. The stain hugs on to the lips imparting a good hue of color to the lips even after a full meal. The stain does last long but is easy to remove with any makeup remover.

Overall, Faces Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick in Miami Night is a gorgeous corally-orange lipcolor that that is super pigmented and long lasting. The color is bright and screams summer. If you love bright lipsticks then you should definitely try this shade, I’m sure you will love it!!!
