After a long time I bought a few nail paints. Currently my nails are short and I wanted them to look cute so I picked two nail lacquer kits by Faces, ’Love Struck Collection’ & ‘Cocktail Collection’. They are new additions and both the kits are very pretty. I just love all the shades and they look perfect on my short nails. I also did a mini nail art. Now let’s jump into the review.

My Experience with Faces Love Struck Collection & Cocktail Collection Nail Lacquer Kits:
Packaging: Love Struck Collection nail kit comes in a very pretty pink colored cardboard box. It is in sync with its beautiful name and there are “love prints” all over the box. Also the Cocktail Collection kit comes in a very glam red box with some beautiful prints of wine glass and bottle. It just looks so attractive. Actual bottles are nicely placed on a white paper tray. The polishes come in normal round clear glass bottles with black caps.
The cute names are mentioned on the top of the caps. Each box contains 3 nail paints and one of each 3 is quite different compared to the other 2. Overall it is a very sturdy lightweight packaging and easy to carry around. Also the applicator brush is pretty nice and good in dense. The brush picks good amount of product. It is easy to apply with it and it fits my nail perfectly at once.
Shades of ‘Love struck Collection’:
Love Struck collection is a pink nail paint set and like it’s name all the shades are lovely and it actually defines “love” with a pretty touch. Now let’s get into the shade details.
Be Mine: It’s a gorgeous pinky red shade and it instantly brightens up my hand. It looks so beautiful and is such a wearable red for all skin tones. It’s a perfect shade for a romantic date nights.
Day Dream: It’s really a dreamy shade and one of my favorite shades. It’s a pinky white nail paint that contains some small red color hexagonal dots in it; also it has some very small white dots. Overall it is actually nail art itself that looks so beautiful on nails. It can be use as a top coat.
First Date: This is a shade which we can’t ignore. It’s a very pretty hot rose-pink shade and it looks beautiful on nails. I just love this pink and it looks so cute on my short nails. It would suit all skin tones and make hands look bright.
Shades of ‘Cocktail Collection’:
Cocktail Collection is a glam kit that is a perfect kit for parties. All the shades are so bold and glamorous. It is actually a red and black kit with a gorgeous gold top coat and I can create various nail arts with this kit. Now let’s get into the shade details.
Scarlet: You can call it a true party red shade and it just looks so gorgeous on hand. It’s a perfect blood red shade with a warm tone. It suits all skin tones and I love its brightness.
Starry Night: I love this top coat shade. It is a clear gel nail paint with some thin golden strands in it. It looks so glam and it needs to be applied on top of a dark nail shade for the true effect. It looks so shiny on nails and the quality of the gold strands is really good. Again it is a nail art itself.
Cast A Spell: Like its name, it’s a true jet black shade and it just looks so bold on nails. I usually do not wear black nail polishes but after getting this I am totally in love with black. It has a glam touch to it.
Pigmentation: All the shades don’t have any shimmers and they are all pigmented. They only need two coats for the true shade. I am just amazed with the pigmentation; even the black shade is really pigmented. Only the ‘Day Dream’ shade is little less pigmented and it needs multiple layers for the color to show up.
Texture & Quality: Texture of these nail paints is pretty nice. It has medium to thin consistency that glides so easily on nail. It provides that even smooth application and never feels heavy or patchy. It just looks so perfect and smooth. All the shades have shiny glossy finish and provide a pro-finish touch to my nails. It takes little time to dry out properly, but it settles down nicely within 2-3 minutes; still I need to be careful for 10-15 minutes more.
As ’Day dream’ is a different type of nail paint so the texture is also little different but that one also glides smoothly on the nails and provides even application. I need to place the dots nicely, but the dots stay perfectly on nails and they never chip from nails. Also ‘Starry night’ has different texture but the gold particles don’t have sharp edges still sometimes the texture feels little rough so I need to apply them carefully. But as usual they never chip and the paint stays perfectly on nails.
Staying Power: All the shades stay really nice on my nails; the shiny glow stays around 4-5 days and after that they look little faded, but shine of the white shade looks little faded after 3 days. Maybe that is due to the different texture still the nail paint never chips; also the dots never create any problem. The top coats shades look so fabulous for more than 1 week. I always change my nail color every week and it stays pretty for 1 week.
The regular nail paints are easy to remove from nail, even the ’Starry Night’ easily comes off with a good remover, only the white paint needs little extra effort to removes the dots from nails. It needs a good remover and some extra time; but it never creates scratch on nails.

Overall they are such pretty nail kits and I can create some beautiful nail arts with these kits. I really like the shade combination and the lovely top coats. They just add more cuteness to these kits. According to the colors, quality and the staying power they are totally worth buying.

Will I Recommend/Repurchased Faces Love Struck Collection & Cocktail Collection Nail Lacquer Kits?
I love to try different shades, but I am highly recommending both the nail lacquer kits. One is a glam kit and the other one is a pretty kit. Both are my current favorite nail kits.
