Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige Review

I wanted a good loose powder since long.  I read a lot of reviews on IMBB and wanted to try many brands’ loose powders, but sadly, most of them are not available here.  So, as usual, I ended up buying one online. I selected Faces because after using some products from Faces, I felt confident on trying something new from this brand.  Secondly, it said it’s a mineral loose powder which is considered to be good for skin.

Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige Review

Usage and Ingredients:

Faces Mineral Powder

Price:

Rs. 599 for 4 g.

My Take on Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige:

Before going into the detailed review, I want to share a story with all of you. I ordered a mineral loose powder as I expected it to be talc free, preservative free.  When I got this product on my hand, I saw the line talc free, preservative free on the bottle itself.  I was very happy to see the tag in the bottle, but when I read the key ingredients, the first one itself was talc.  I got really irritated by this carelessness of the manufacturers. I immediately mailed them asking an explanation. Gladly, they responded to my mail and apologized for their mistake. Anyway, the fact is that this one contains talc as a key ingredient which is very disappointing for me.

Faces Mineral Loose Powder

Back to the review, this product has very fine particles and the shade golden beige really suited me well. It has an applicator sponge attached to it, which I never used. I don’t use the applicator sponge because I am not very sure about washing the sponge, otherwise, the sponge is very soft and I feel it will turn out to be a good applicator. I might use the applicator if I am travelling with this product.

I am using this on a daily basis. I may or may not use the foundation, but I use this one to control the oil on my face. It does its job pretty well and keeps oil at bay for a few hours at least. It works better if I use it on top of my foundation. Even without foundation, it gives a light coverage and a nice glow to my face.

Faces Mineral

What I Liked about Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige:

  • It contains minerals, which is good for skin, especially oily skin.
  • As it’s a mineral loose powder, it doesn’t have any preservatives in it.
  • Shade suited me well.
  • Gives light coverage and a nice glow to my face.
  • Didn’t accentuate the appearance of pores on my face.
  • Easily available at many online stores with a discount.

What I Didn’t Like about Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige:

  • The fact that it has talc in it.
  • The quantity we get is very low, Rs. 599 for 4 gm is pretty pricey.
  • Comparing the quantity and price, this one is pricier than TBS loose powder, Chanel loose powder, but they don’t have any minerals and Bourjois Mineral Enriched Loose Powder which always get high ratings.

Overall Verdict on Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige:

This is a nice loose powder which will suit all skin types.  I will repurchase it if the manufacturer launches this one without talc in it, but before that, I would try Bourjois one too.

IMBB Rating:

3.5/5

Do I Recommend Faces Mineral Loose Powder Golden Beige?

I am a bit confused on this part. I like it, but for the price and the claim of mineral powder, it would have been better if it didn’t contain talc. If you don’t mind the talc part and price, you can totally go for this, its a good product.
