My Experience with Faces Ultime Corallista Pro Longwear Matte Lipstick:

Let’s begin the review with packaging of the product. The lipstick comes is a sleek and long matte black plastic tube. The matte black tube is classy, lighweight. The lipstick has a color-coded sticker at its base mentioning the shade name. Overall, the packaging has no flaws and is travel friendly.

Coming to the shade “Corallista,” it is a nice pinkish coral shade and I fell for it immediately when I swatched it on my hand. If you have been reading my reviews, you might know that I am a “coral lip” lover. My search for the perfect coral lipstick actually never ends. The lipstick has some neutral undertones. The color is so fresh and vibrant. It immediately brightens up my face. This pretty pink lipstick has absolutely no sheen or shimmer. It will suit fair to medium skin tones so well. The lipstick sets to a lovely matte finish. This probably seems to be the most gorgeous coral pink lipstick.

Pigmentation wise, the lipstick is amazing. One swipe gives almost semi-opaque coverage. Just two swipes of the lipstick are good enough to get a nice color on the lips and to hide pigmented lips. The formula is very pigmented, but still there is still no staining issue.

The texture of the lipstick is extremely soft and smooth. It is very creamy smooth and glides on the lips like a dream. It did not drag my lips and I really love the formula. The formula is extremely lightweight and comfortable. Initially, the lipstick looks creamy and then sets to a gorgeous matte finish after a few minutes. It does not feel heavy on the lips. The formula is non drying. It keeps my lips hydrated for a really long time. It is a matte lip color and clings very easily to the dry parts of the lips and highlights them too much, so exfoliating the lips prior to application is a must, but I think that’s the case with all matte lip colors. The creaminess of the lipstick makes it prone to transfer.

The lipstick is long lasting. The brand claims that it stays for 8 hours or so, but it stays on my lips for some 6 hours or so. In the mean time, it does not fade or bleed at all. It stays in place and looks like a freshly applied lip color. The lipstick does not survive a full meal and vanishes from the inner corners of the lips. The best part of the lipstick is that it does not settle into the fine lines of the lips once the color gets ripped off. Removing the lipstick is simple and easy. It gets removed easily with makeup remover wipes without leaving any stain behind. Overall, this range is amazing, it has some really gorgeous matte shades. Totally worth trying!
