Faces Ultime Pro French Sangria Lip Crème Review

Product Description:
Ultimate pro lip crème is an absolutely super soft, smooth and moisturizing lip gloss that promises one stroke hi shine coverage. It is completely opaque, highly pigmented, does not transfer, bleed or feather and stays on for hours at a stretch. Inspired by the colors of mesmerizing cocktails, lip crème gives you the color intensity of the lipstick and luster of a gloss. This non-sticky lip crème comes with a doe-foot sponge applicator.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro French Sangria Lip Crème:

I thought with the numbers the intensity of the shades would shoot up but turned out that the transition of the lip crème had a strange shaded pattern. Not complaining but if you have a bunch of corals starting from a neutral shade, you are bound to remember it that way. Turned out that ‘Cosmopolition’ shade came in between like a red carpet guest and waved, else the patterns goes from a neutral rosy pink, brown coral to a coral and so on. Let us move on to the details to gain better clarity.

Faces Ultime Pro French Sangria Lip Crème Review packaging

Packaging: I have been reaching out for these lip crèmes a lot lately so obviously the more you use it, the more attention you pay to the intricacy of the details. Definitely comfortable and smells pleasant to carry around. The simple sturdy plastic tube with the color coded sticker labels at the bottom of the bottom helps you to spot which shade you want to use making things convenient. The outer package comes with neat specifications with all the information you want. The packaging overall is just fine and keeps the crème in place. Nothing fancy for the price though. I am glad the applicator serves it purpose as some colors can be tricky to be work with to get a neat even finish.

Color: This shade is a simple, elegant shady coral lip crème and I say that also cause of the mild brown undertones it has to it. There is nothing jazzy about the color, also it does leave a peach stained lip behind, so in case you are looking for a nice neutral coral shade lip crème , this color is not a fuzzy shade and therefore it can be one of your comfortable happy yet wearable daily lip shade that you can wear without having to worry!

Texture: They weigh pretty smooth on the lips where you do not exactly anything uncomfortable on the lips. Definitely not ultra light or wet, both are balanced and not tacky stickiness. So if you have lips prepped well, the applicator would be a smoother process.

Coverage and Pigmentation: Being a gloss lover, lip crèmes, are the second best option for me be it in a tube or pot. I see myself reaching out to them more often at least for now, for they give a mediocre coverage unlike a gloss with a better level of color payoff as they are more pigmented than glosses. Another advantage with lip crèmes are, they give a pearl like shine and zero shimmers at least this range gladly contains no shimmers to it. Simply because they are not as pigmented as lipsticks, the coverage and the finish is uneven too. Although you cannot the formula of a lip crème and a lipstick for obvious reasons, some lipsticks have a poor performance for the standards of a lipstick and likewise a particular range of lip crèmes can be disappointing. But that way, these are somewhere in between and am *peace out* over that!

Staying Power: Having gone over and about them, they pretty much are just like glosses except that they a better version having the formula it has which bring us to the staying power. I have come to a point where I have truly accepted these lip crèmes in a way that they come as I simply understand that you cannot expect more from this. Already being pretty good at what they do by lasting a drink and snack and a meal. A single coat will vanish in no time, two to three coats with a lip liner can work better but with the uneven stains they leave behind well it does not matter to me as I would expect a pretty stained lip if I am walking a mile more by using a liner.
So I guess in case you are slowly moving from glosses towards lipsticks, using lip crèmes and then liquid lipsticks are can be the best ways to go through the transition. The process is smooth and once in awhile you have good pigmented glosses and nice tinted lip balms coming your way!

If I go the Faces counter again, I would definitely repurchase my third ‘go-get’ shade, French Sangria from this range after ‘Nude Mojito’ and ‘Margaratira Punch’. I recommend this comfortable daily wear shade that would let you pamper yourself with an extra ounce of makeup.
