I am a self-proclaimed lipstick hoarder, though I was a lip gloss person initially, but then, I slowly started to move away from lip glosses a few years ago. It must have happened gradually at first, because I’m not entirely sure when it happened, but nowadays, I notice myself skipping lip glosses entirely. But still, I just can’t resist orange lip glosses. So when I saw this drool-worthy orange lip gloss, I knew I just had to get it. Faces cosmetics has launched new Ultime Lip Creme in the shades – Grape Martini, Nude Mojito, Hawaiian Orange, Red Mary, Pink-A-Colada and Fuchsia Sparkler. Today, I am reviewing the shade “Hawaiian Orange.”

Ultime Pro Lip Creme is an absolutely super soft, smooth and moisturizing lip gloss that promises one stroke hi-shine coverage. It is completely opaque, highly pigmented, does not transfer, bleed or feather and stays on for hours at a stretch. Inspired by the colors of mesmerizing cocktails, lip creme gives you the color intensity of the lipstick and luster of a gloss.This non-sticky lip creme comes with a doe-foot sponge applicator. It picks up the right quantity of the product.

My Experience with Faces Ultime Pro Lip Creme in Hawaiian Orange:

Starting with the packaging, this lip creme comes in a thick cylindrical transparent tube with a black cap. I really liked this cute and sturdy packaging. The see-through tube makes it easy to spot the shade quickly from your makeup stash. The cap closes securely, so there are no chances of the lip gloss leaking out, therefore making it travel friendly. The shade name is mentioned on the bottom sticker of the lip gloss. The wand of this lip creme has a flat, paddle type sponge tip. It’s similar to a standard doe-foot applicator, but like I said, more flattened, and angled a bit, like a paddle.

Coming to the shade, this shade is a true orange with no shimmer. There are no obvious yellow or red tones, just straight up juicy orange. I think this shade would look awesome on literally every skin tone.  These lip cremes have a thick, creamy and buttery texture which does not feel heavy or sticky. It feels like a dream to apply them on the lips as they glide on easily without any effort. It feels very lightweight and it is not uncomfortable. You don’t notice it when talking, and it’s not the type of gloss that gets stringy when you part your lips. It is extremely wearable and I feel like even if you don’t like lip gloss, you may enjoy these.

Faces ultime pro lip creme in the shade “Hawaiian Orange” is intensely pigmented and a single swipe gives a rich opaque colour. It is more of a lipstick in liquid form. It covers every bit of pigmentation on the lips and I’m sure all the ladies with pigmented lips will love it.

Coming to the best part of this lip product, it’s staying power. It stays on the lips for a good 6-7 hours. The intensity does lighten up as the time passes, but you can still see good amount of colour on the lips. It survives meals and doesn’t transfer much. It leaves an equally gorgeous looking stain that lasts even longer.

My lips feel soft and hydrated on wearing this lip creme and it manages to keep them moisturized even long after the colour has worn off. For all the makeup sniffers like me, let me tell you, this lip product has an amazing sweet smell to it which isn’t overpowering. I really can’t describe the smell of this lip creme but I can surely tell you that it smells really nice and different from all the other lip glosses I have.
