Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash Review

Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash Review

Hi Beauties,

Do you all remember the “Fair and Lovely Aur Fair and Lovely” ad. While using the first Fair and Lovely, I tried my hands on the second Fair and Lovely too, which is the Fair and lovely Multivitamin Face Wash.

Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash Review

Price:

Rs. 45 for 50 gm.

Product Description:

This rich lathering foam along with Tri-Fair vitamin complex and anti-oxidants lifts away impurities and works gently to help provide:

• Instant fairer look.
• Clearer skin.
• Soft smooth feel.

Ingredients:

Fair and Lovely

My Experience with Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash:

I am sure many of you must have used one or the other fairness face washes. Most of the fairness face washes have one thing in common; they make the face look fair instantly after washing.  This is achieved by washing all the oil from your face, so oil-free face looks brighter always. This is what happens with this face wash also.  Just after washing your face, you will see a visibly fairer face. In the process of washing the oil, it makes skin stretchy, which was not very uncomfortable for me as after some 5 minutes, that feeling goes away, but this “elastic” feeling can be an issue for girls with dry skin.

I am using this face wash from 3 weeks and this one actually makes skin clearer and fairer in the long run. It helps fade the scars and marks faster too.  One more thing which amazed me is the amount you need for each wash. One actually needs a very small amount to clean the face and it lathers very well. When I first took that less amount, and it worked on my full face with good lather, I was really amazed and at the same time scared about the heavy dose of chemicals. It leaves no film on skin and gives a completely clean face.

Fair and Lovely Face Wash

Like the Fair and Lovely Cream, the Fair and Lovely face wash is also baby pink in color with almost similar smell, which is good. Packaging is same as Fair and Lovely Cream, with pink flip cap.

Pros of Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash:

  • Does what it claims, that is makes skin fairer.
  • Fades skin marks faster.
  • Washes makeup residue also, gives clean face.
  • A very small amount is needed every time.
  • Lathers very well.
  • Pocket friendly.
  • Travel-friendly packaging.
  • Pleasant smell.

Cons of Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash:

  • Can be uncomfortable for dry skin.
  • Lots of chemicals.

Final Verdict on Fair and Lovely Multi Vitamin Face Wash:

This one is a good fairness face wash, which does what it claims. It says that it is for all skin types, but I am not sure if this will be good for dry skin. Inexpensive, so everyone can give it a try.

IMBB Rating:

4/5.

  1. great review.. good that it worked for you. i had tried this many months backs when it was first launched.. it made my skin SO dry and strechy that i had to use boroline on my face for a week to regain the softness!! and my skin is generally pretty problem free and is not prone to any skin probs. so this was a total disaster for me! 🙁

  2. I have noticed one thing all the fairness face wash have these ingredients – myristic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, lauric acid 😀 all acids i have seen it in Garnier Fairness face wash, Lakme radiance, dove light blue one..
    Good review sweta 🙂

  3. Nice post would surely recommend my friends, though I cannot use it.. :(Well out of the context but a problem, does anyone know how to get rid of whiteheads from the face, actually I suffer allot and whenever my hands run over my face, i can easily feel those whiteheads and my skin is very dry even tough its combination skin.. Can anyone suggest me please…
