Festive Outfit of the Day : Black Silk Kurta and Emerald Details

We just went out to someone’s place to wish Diwali. And this is what I wore. I fell ill yesterday – bad immunity. Just tried my best to look the best today. πŸ˜› Β Just took some quick piccys before stepping out. Thought I’d share. πŸ™‚ I wore a black silk kurta. What I fell was the gorgeous kadhai work on the top. I paired it with green churidar and a matching jutti. Finished off my outfit with big jumkis and some bangles. Β There is barely any makeup on my face except mascara, kohl and MAC Mehr lipstick.

Happy Chotu Diwali everyone. :))Β

  3. Hi, happy Diwali to all πŸ™‚

Rati, every time I access faux pas on my iPhone, the pop up covers the entire screen and I am unable to resize and close it. This happens only on faux pas and not on imbb. Can u pls let me know the workaround ? Thanks

  4. Happy Diwali, Rati and Sanjeev, wish you happiness and prosperity always. You look great as always, Rati, I love the black kurta and pairing it with green churidar was super. Hope you get better soon to celebrate today.

  5. I love you Indian outfits too Rati……:P Like the black kurti ke saath green leggings……and the accessories……..and the NEW DIAMOND ring πŸ˜›

  6. this is my signature dressing style for any occasion where i need to wear something ethnic.Rati, you’re looking fab and this is the first time I am seeing you in a kurta and churidar.

  7. I love that black kurta! It’s so elegant. And your whole look is so gorgeous, nothing OTT and very festive nonetheless. πŸ˜€ Also, if that’s how your skin looks like when you’re not even wearing much makeup, I am fully convinced that you are simply wasting your money on all those fancy items. Why buy Chanel when you can rock it even without their Vita Lumiere and what not? πŸ˜›

Hope you recover fully and enjoy your day. Happy Diwali to you and Sanjeev ji. πŸ˜€

  11. U are looking just so pretty and with those juttis and jhumkis u look like a pretty kashmiri girl as we could see in the old movies and the kurta with its work just adds up the charm

  12. Happy Diwali

Rati you look is very pretty in this outfit, just love the entire look.
I had a green churidar laying in my closet always wondered which colour will go with it( use to always think of same old colour combinations) and black never crossed my mind.
