My Experience with Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser:

Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser Review1

Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser is a recent launch by Forest Essentials in their hair care range. I like using natural and organic herbal products made using the Ayurveda process, so I chose this hair cleanser. I have thin, chemically treated and damaged hair. I also tend to get dandruff, due to the usage of hot water in extremely cold weather. I have frequent hair fall issues too. Using herbal and natural products effectively aid in combating some of these issues. I regularly use bhingraj hair oil and have noticed significant changes for good. Hence, I bought a shampoo with bhringraj as the key ingredient for additional benefits. Bhringraj strengthens the hair and aids hair growth; it also nourishes the scalp and prevents dandruff.

Shikakai has a naturally mild pH that gently cleanses the hair and scalp without stripping the natural oils while boosting the hair strength. Firstly, I apply bhringraj hair oil on my scalp and leave it on for fifteen to twenty minutes. Then, I wash my hair using Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser. My hair and scalp feel thoroughly cleansed. Also, it makes my hair soft and smooth. I don’t feel the need to use a conditioner but definitely, I use a serum post hair wash.

Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser controls hair fall, prevents breakage, makes my hair stronger and promotes regrowth. Also, it helps in controlling dandruff but does not eliminate the dandruff issues. So, I keep getting dandruff on and off. However, this could be due to the water type, continuous exposure to air conditioners, using hot water and weather conditions. Overall, I am quite okay with this shampoo. However, I prefer using Forest Essentials Japapatti and Brahmi Hair Cleanser as it can be used throughout all seasons in my case.

Pros for Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser:

  • Hair cleanser made with bhringraj and shikakai as key ingredients.
  • Thoroughly cleanses the hair and scalp.
  • Hair feels soft and smooth.
  • Strengthens the hair and roots.
  • Aids hair growth and prevents hair fall.
  • Nourishes the scalp and prevents dandruff.

Cons for Forest Essentials Bhringraj and Shikakai Hair Cleanser:

  • Does not eliminate dandruff issues.

  1. Hi .. found this review really helpful … But wanted to know where from did you buy bhringaraj oil … I am suffering through a huge hairfall please let me know

  2. Hi, I have tried all of their shampoo ranges from BHRINGRAJ & SHIKAKAI, JAPAPATTI & BRAHMI and AMLA, HONEY & MULETHI but have noticed one thing.
Whenever I oil my hair and wash using the above shampoos, the oil remains in the hair even after using the shampoo twice. In this bargain I landed up using more shampoo and in turn my hair became rough and unmanageable.
Has anyone faced this issue because I am not finding any similar comments related to this issue of oil not coming out from the hair?
