My Experience with Forest Essentials Organic Cold Pressed Virgin Almond Oil:

I have mainly been shopping only for body care products. Almond oil offers so many benefits and is multi-purpose. The main reason behind purchasing Forest Essentials Organic Cold Pressed Virgin Almond Oil is that I am convinced with their method of extracting oil from organically grown sweet almonds. The method used is very essential since it helps in retaining the quality, nutrients and necessary fatty acids. Cold pressing means that the oil has been extracted by a natural method which doesn’t damage essential fatty acids.

This organic oil from organically grown sweet almonds has a very pleasant texture. It is almost scentless, rich in protein as well as highly emollient, nourishing and absorbs well into the deepest layers of the skin. I take a few drops in my palm and rub them together, and then using my fingerpads massage the oil into my hair. Then I comb my hair so that the oil spreads from the roots to the ends. I leave it in my hair for some time before taking a head shower. This can be done on dry or wet hair. Almond oil helps condition my hair and gives a lustre. It also promotes hair growth and maintains a healthy scalp. I massage this oil all over my body and leave it on for some time before I shower. A body massage done with almond oil tones, relaxes and nourishes the skin and muscle tissue. It flushes the toxins out from the body and gives a beautiful lustre to my skin. It keeps my skin hydrated and nourished throughout the day.

Forest Essentials Almond Oil

This oil is smooth textured and does not feel oily or greasy, once absorbed. It can be used after shower also. The fragrance is very mild and natural. I am eagerly waiting for winters to use it with ubtans, as advised by Rati Mam in one of her articles HERE. I have used it with Forest Essentials Facial Scrub Hand Pounded Organic Fruit for face and it has given good results. I either mix it with the scrub or apply a small amount on my face before using the scrub. Almond oil can be used to cleanse the face skin and pores and helps fight acne too. The fatty acids in almond oil actually help dissolve the sebum that our skin produces, creating cleaner skin and pores. Overall, it’s a good oil, which can be used from head to toe or as desired. It can be used as a base oil for mixing other oils for making lip scrubs at home too.
