Freeman Feeling Beautiful Body Sugar Scrub Pomegranate Review

Hi Everyone,

Today, I am going to review a body scrub. Actually, I started having the problem of ingrown hair since I was using hair removal creams a lot these days. So, I wanted a good exfoliator for my skin and hence ordered Freeman Body Sugar Scrub from one of the online stores. I must say I have quite liked it.

Ingredients:

Sucrose, Propylene Glycol, Punica granatum (Pomegranate Extract), carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) seed oil, prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Prunus Amygdalus dulcus (sweet almond) oil, Sesame Indicum (sesame) seed oil, Glyderine, Carbomer, Fragrance( Parfum), Benzyl Benzoate, Benzyl Alcohol.

My Take on Freeman Feeling Beautiful Body Sugar Scrub Pomegranate:

It is a white-coloured cream like substance which has a relatively thicker consistency, not that the thick consistency in any way stops it from getting spread evenly. It has small sugar-like finely ground scrub granules which are on the coarser side. I am actually quite happy with them being coarser because for body I prefer coarse scrubs.  It exfoliates the body nicely and you can feel the granules being rubbed against the body.  My body did not feel dry or stretchy, on the contrary felt softer.

Body Scrub

I mix only a little amount of water with this scrub.  Coming to the fragrance, I can only say that it smells sweet, I could not sniff pomegranates in it (though that is the main ingredient).  The fragrance is mild and should be liked by one and all. The quantity being offered is decent but if you use it twice or thrice a week, it shall only last you for about two weeks.

Summing the pros and cons:

Pros of Freeman Feeling Beautiful Body Sugar Scrub Pomegranate:

  • Does the job of scrubbing and exfoliating of the body nicely.
  • It is not tested on animals, yes this point is very important to me as I am strictly against animal testing.
  • Has a mild and sweet fragrance.
  • The packaging (especially the colour of the tube) is very lively.

Cons of Freeman Feeling Beautiful Body Sugar Scrub Pomegranate:

  • Some of you may find the granules coarser (but believe me, it scrubs the body nicely).
  • It has the presence of alcohol in it. Not that great to be used by people who have sensitive skin.
  • I haven’t seen this at many stores in the market, has to be ordered online.

Will I Repurchase/Do I Recommend Freeman Feeling Beautiful Body Sugar Scrub Pomegranate?

Yes, I will.

IMBB Rating:

4.75/5 (had to deduct a few points because of the cons listed above).

I love this scrub – I find it often in stores in Mumbai, the kind where you get “imported” maal 😛
Its really nice, and the sugar dissolves slowly as you scrub so I like it even more 😀 And that sweet sweet smell *drool*

Good review shivani. the pomegrante thing attracted me to the post but if you cant smell it, I mean whats the point then? 🙂
I would prefer a homemade ubtan for exfoliation along with may be johnsons baby soap or lux peach n cream or the likes for lather. 🙂
