Freeman Superfruits Detoxifying Clay Facial Mask Review

If Freeman products were retailed out extensively at stores in India rather than being available only online, they would be picked up like hot cakes.  Not that they are unbelievably awesome products, but these products from Freeman come in such bright and colourful packaging that its hard to ignore them :) I have used the Freeman Facial Scrub and Freeman Moisturizer earlier and liked them.  Coming to this product, some details:

Product Description:

Superfruits provides antioxidant rich skin care to help combat the effects of stress, the environment and your fun, not-so-healthy lifestyle.  Powered by Mega 8 complex which combines eight of the most powerful superfruits, Goji, Acai, Pomegranate, Mango, Mangosteen, Cranberry, Noni, and Blueberry to help purify, detoxify, and soothe stressed skin.  Superfruits Detoxifying Facial Clay Mask gently draws out impurities that can dull skin and clog pores while neutralizing environmental skin damage.

How To Use:

Apply mask to face and neck, avoiding contact with eyes.  Let dry and rinse with warm water.

Rs. 220 for 150 ml.

My Take on Freeman Superfruits Detoxifying Clay Facial Mask:

Most of the fruit masks in Indian markets stink strongly of a combination of strange fruits.  This semi-solid pale blue clay mask from Freeman comes in a bright green big tube.  The fragrance is very mild and pleasant.  This is a clay mask hence its good for oily skin.  Its quite easy to apply and dries within 15 minutes.

Clay Mask 1

After wiping it off, the skin feels smooth, a little bright, and tight.  Nothing great, but a good mask that does not disappoint too much.  This clay mask might not suit very dry skin because it does leave the skin a bit dry.  The description mentions the goodness of 8 fruits in this mask, if its true, that’s great.

Clay Mask 2

Clay Mask 3

But as mentioned before, its an average fruit face pack, one that you would like to use occasionally.  There’s a lot of face pack in the tube, so its a good deal, it will take me a lot of time before I can finish it off, maybe two years :)

Clay Mask 4

Coming to the pros and cons of this mask:

Pros of Freeman Superfruits Detoxifying Clay Facial Mask:

  • Since its a clay mask, its good for oily skin.
  • Packaging is attractive.
  • Mild fragrance.
  • Claims to have goodness of 8 fruits.
  • Makes skin smooth and a little bright.
  • Good deal at the price it comes.
  • There’s only one paraben listed in the ingredients, its a pro, right?

Cons of Freeman Superfruits Detoxifying Clay Facial Mask:

  • Dries up the skin a bit, so might not suit dry skin.
  • Contains propyl paraben.
  • No awesome results, just an average product.

Will I Repurchase Freeman Superfruits Detoxifying Clay Facial Mask?

It will take me a long time to finish it off.

Freeman makes some of the most tempting Fruit Packss… :) but I try to use fruits in the natural state..and apply directly for max benefits.. :)
