Fresh Pink Eyes: EYE MAKE UP TUTORIAL
This tutorial is going to start on a sad note . 🙁 I won’t be able to do any more eye makeup tutes for some time in future as the horrid “red eye” infection is not totally gone as I had hoped. So I will have to take a break from any sort of makeup for some time now . 🙁 I will stick to DIYs till then as for the request tutes, they will follow as soon as the infection is completely gone for good! Also, you will notice the redness in the corners of my eyes in this tute, so please forgive me for the bad EOTDs. This a spring time day wear look and anyone can pull it off. The products used are:
1. A local brand eye shadow palette( for a silvery pink and a warm pink eye shadow)
2. VOV make up palette ( for green and white eye shadow)
3. Maybelline hypercurl mascara
4. Garnier BB cream ( my new favourite which works cool as a primer)
5. Davies eyeliner pencil in brown( you may use brown gel eyeliner for better effect)
6. VOV eyebrow powder set
Step 1 and 2: prime the eyes and define your eye brows. Notice that I have give an arc to my otherwise sparse eyebrows with the eyebrow powder set. Defined eyebrows are a must for this look.
Step 3: take a beige eyeshadow and blend underneath your brow bone to further highlight your groomed brows
Step 4: dab some silvery pink eye shadow on the inner half of the upper eyelid ( the MAC eyeshadow “pink freeze” that Neha reviewed yesterday will be just perfect).
Step 5: take a warm pink and fill the outer half of the upper eyelid and blend it inside towards the silver pink shade
Step 6: now with a fluffy brush, blend the harsh line on the crease with a matte brown eyeshadow.
Step 7: draw a thick line on the upper lashline with a brown eye pencil
Step 8: now very carefully dab some green eyeshadow on the outer part of the lower lashline. You may even use a pencil to draw a defined line. You may also skip this step altogether.
Step 9: dab some white eye shadow on the inner corner of the lower lashline.
Step 10: avoid kajal and use just a single coat of mascara.
You are done! 🙂 Your eyes will retain the fresh look throughout the day. 🙂
Keep smiling ladies!
