My Take on Garnier Fructis Fall Fight Fortifying Shampoo

I have been garnier fructis shampoos for ages except childhood (this is the phase in everyone’s life when you are indifferent about stuffs mom pour on you… Right?

From last 5years I have been suffering from acute hair fall. I saw the commercial of Parachute hair fall therapy oil for hair fall and bought it. I did help me out in hair fall and my locks were on the scalp only instead of comb. But later for some or other reason (I don’t remember the reason) I left using it. Hair fall again started. That’s the consequence of using these kinds of products. Whenever you stop using these, the problems resumes again. One day mom bought these fall fight shampoos (before that I was using its long and strong) as there was a scheme going on that time, that at the price of one shampoo, you are getting two of them (that’s why the price is quoted 000 here. as it is the second bottle). My mom is also using this and she is also happy with its result

This is the snap of my hairs (this shampoo + L’Oreal mirror shine conditioner)

Pros of Garnier Fructis Fall Fight Fortifying Shampoo

1. Does what it claims. My combs are now hair free. Not a single strand of hair is there after combing.
2. Gives a healthy shine to my locks
3. My hair are smooth and detangles easily
4. Removes all the dirt from your scalp.
5. Gradually my split ends has improved and the hair growth is faster.
6. Has fruits’ smell
7. Cute and strategic packaging
8. Decently priced and lasts long
9. I have finished one bottle of this hair fall shampoo and using the second one. So now you can make out that this is really effective.

Cons of Garneer Fructis Fall Fight Fortifying Shampoo

1. Contains SLS
2. Although having SLS, still this don’t lather much :S
3. nothing more than this

Final verdict

I confess I am a lover of this shampoo. I have been using it for a decade and will also be using it for next decades. I have used brands like Himalaya, L’Oreal, Pantene, head and shoulders, Amway, sunsilk etc. but none of them has done wonders for my hair. I prefer this shampoo among all the expensive ones because this is really really a nice innovation by Garnier. Please note that I have normal to oily scalp and normal to dry hair. If you want to give it a try for hair fall I would suggest you to buy some pouches beforehand and use it for a while. If you get satisfied buy the bottle otherwise forget it. I am going to grab more and more bottles of it and stock them up if I ever happen to get this offer again. Otherwise I’ll keep on buying this for years. Promise.

i am so glad you found your hg shampoo.. and this shampoo does sound like a miracle worker.. btw i am true believer in buying cheap shampoos and investing only in good hair masques for occasional pampering.. i buy cheap conditioners.. and the one i love right now is VO5 deep elixir.

btw since i always oil my hair before washing , i wanted to know is this shampoo good at removing oil from hair. most hair fall shampoos are so rich and moisturising that they do not remove oil from your hair.

hi supriya :)
even i oil my hair before doing shampoo and this shampoo really removes the oil from the scalp and the hair.. i have used himalaya shampoos and they were not able to remove the oil at all as they didn’t had any cleansing agent in it and hence they were very mild.

Rupam, I remember using this one few years ago, I have normal to oily scalp and same kinda hair, it suited me so well, those wer the years, I never knew abt sles or sls and was very happy with the prod, the kinda shine it imparted to my short bob, loved it to the core, but dont know why I stopped using that.

Saw your post and now want to try this again, instead of using a mysterious herbal brand shampoo, I prefer using the synthetic one which clearly shows the complete list of ingredients. I bout the himalaya anti-hairfall shampoo, and its a dud with me, infact I felt I lost hair with that, so yesterday, I bot a small bottle of vatika henna cream shampoo, it gave my hair a nice shine and I did not feel the need to use a conditioner, but I felt I still lost some strands.

Me trying this one for sure, and yes will buy the sachets before the big bottle….thanks so much for the review, its soooooooooooooo timely….I must say this is a wonderful place. :thanks: :thanks: :thanks:

akhila… even i have used herbal shampoos wen i came to know about the ill effects of SLS but they were not able to extract the oil from my hair… wen i went for a haircut, the parlor lady told me that my hair is not cleaned and it has loads of oil though i have normal to oily scalp, from that point only i threw the himalaya one and started reusing it :)

Well I guess my hair would present an anticlimax to the good verdicts on Garnier shampoos-I used about 3 bottles since it came out first-and my hair loved to say good bye to my head after every wash :zombiekiller: :zombiekiller: :zombiekiller: :waaa: :waaa: :waaa: dunno-off course results vary-for me-only the himalaya protein shampoo works like a magic potion..anyway-Ur hair is gorgeous!!! :star: :star: :star:

Wowwww beautiful hair you have! I love the shine ! :woot: :woot: :waytogo: But I dont believe shampoo can cure hairfall problems! :( Every trichologist say, shampoos are meant for only cleansing not stopping hair fall or hair growth, these are tall false claims, that has duped so many people! :((

God i hate this shampoo-cond combo to the core :|… it made my hair, dry , tangled as though it got damaged in one day… its awful.. leaves a sticky mess of hair, dry like a haystack… also wherever it touches, the skin of neck n face feels awful and yucky… horror..
