Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Strengthening Hair Oil Review

Hello cupcakes,

On a sad note, the shampoo and the conditioner from this range did not do really well according to the reviews but I had purchased this on the very second day after I saw the advertisement on the television and unknowingly how it would work, I bought the entire range. The oil was not reviewed so thought of doing it. I was really scared to try this as the shampoo and the conditioner were pretty okay. So let’s see how the third and the last variant from this range worked.

Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Strengthening Hair Oil

Its secret: A double action to nourish damaged, lifeless hair.
On the inside: The oil nourishes hair and scalp, making it smooth and soft.
On the outside: The oil protects the hair fibre. Shine is revealed, hair is smooth through lengths.:

My experience with Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Strengthening Hair Oil:

So to start with, the main thing that actually attracted me to try this one was that it was a blend of three most nourishing hair oils ever. We actually tend to mix these oils to get the greatest shiny hair but I was readily getting it without the pain of getting three different bottles and then mixing them so I was happy for that reason. Talking about my hair, most of you know my hair type but again they are thin, rebonded , chemically treated, damaged and what not. But I do take good care of my hair and gradually my hair is  improving. The packaging is sturdy and very bright orange in colour and I liked the packaging because mostly the oils are very sadly packed in dull bottles. The bottle is transparent so you can easily make out the quantity and the bottle does not leak at all. When I picked this up, I thought that this might be the perfect oil for me as it was mainly designed for damaged hair and my hair are exactly that . The quantity is very good as the price is quite reasonable. The oil does not have any colour and the smell is really good.

It has a musky smell and a fresh powdery smell as well. The smell is really sweet and I was glad because most of the oils have a really disgusting smell and most of the noses do not like such smells. But this is really good and you will love the smell when you have applied it. The advertisement says that you just have to oil your hair and then you can directly wash it as it has some special formula and you don’t have to waste time keeping it your hair. But I kept it overnight because I did not believe them 😛 lol. The oil does not feel very sticky it is actually light. It does not feel heavy on your hair at all. Next day while washing my hair, it claimed that it will remove all the oil in just one wash but it did not. The sticky greasy feeling was there and I had to shampoo my hair twice. After shampooing, the hair were neither very smooth nor very rough. I conditioned my hair but did not apply serum to check out how this actually worked. My hair very smooth at the roots but they became even more frizzy at the tips. I already have damaged frizzy ends and this added to the frizz. They did not look smooth and I was disappointed as my olive oil alone does this job and a mixture of three oils could not. Overall it is an average oil and a possibility that it might work differently for different hair types. It did not satisfy most of the claims.

Cons of Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Strengthening Hair Oil:

-Made my ends even more frizzy.
-The oil did not go off in one wash.
-Average oil did nothing happening.
-I did not notice any damage repair.

Will I repurchase/recommend Garnier Fructis Goodbye Damage Strengthening Hair Oil?

No, I don’t think so I will repurchase it because my olive oil works far better than this one and actually it is not worth a buy because it did not do anything extraordinary even when it had a blend of three oils.

    1. ummm i know a few things i can share… use a protein hair treatment every week .. the mask includes egg, olive oi, yogurt, honey and vitamin E capsules…also apply oil and massgae you scalp foe 10 minutes atleast twice in a week and use volumzing shampoos and conditioners that will make your hair look thick.. and also massage you hair while shampooing… and have a very healthy diet with vegetables and fruits *hifive*

  2. di iam a veggie so wat can i substitute in place of egg best nd cheap volumizing shampoo and conditioner for thin ,dandruff, oily scalp ,dry hair and split ends (all hair prob *waaa* *cry* )

    1. I don’t have any idea as to what would be the substitute to egg in the mask as never tried it the other way *nababana* i think organic surge volume range got a good review so you can try that… and you can go to a dermatologist as you have soo many problems so its impossible to treat each and everything at home.. i guess derma can give a better advise and the right products for your hair type.. *haan ji*

    1. Regular use of castor oil will help ur hair thicken + it may also help in dealing with hair fall ….
bt make sure you dont use the general processed oils, the castor oil should be “cold pressed oil”, the refining process snatches away the major nutrients from it so cold pressed oil is advisable., Hope it helps.. *specs* *specs* *specs* *specs*

  3. Saloni, on a different topic, I tried the Wellastrate straightening cream you recommended & am happy with its result, though I used the mild version fearing hair fallout. As you had mentioned, it didn’t give pinstraight hair but I am happy there was no hair loss.

    1. awwwwwwwwww *thankyou* *thankyou* soooo much Elizabeth *woot* i am sooooo very happy that i could lend some help to you *happy dance* yep now just maintain it properly and you will love your hair *happydance* next time after a year or soo try the intense one without any fear *hifive*
