Cleansing, toning, moisturizing are the 3 steps to healthy skin. I always forget the toning part and it is only recently that I have started following a CTM routine. I fell in love with Garnier’s new range and bought a cleanser and toner. I then decided to buy a moisturizer from the same brand and ended up purchasing 2 as I wanted to try both of them: Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra+ moisturizing and soothing cream for normal to combination skin and Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra+ gel crème for tired and dull skin. So in this post, I will be reviewing Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra+ moisturizing and soothing cream for normal to combination skin.

My Experience with Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra+ Moisturizing and Soothing Cream:

When it comes to moisturization, my best friend is Lacto Calamine. It has been my miracle medicine from my teenage years when I was prone to severe acne and even though I have tried some good products later, for some reason when I do not know what to buy, I always end up with calamine. I always have a small pack on my dressing table any time of the year. It was only recently that I decided to buy something new. When I was buying the cleanser, this cream grabbed my attention and as I needed a moisturizer, I picked this one up after a lot of brainstorming and do I really need these many beauty products (?) talks with my husband 😛

The product comes in a light pastel blue plastic jar with a white screw cap. The packaging is cute and is travel friendly. There is no much information on the jar and it is simpler than fancy. The smell is light but floral. The texture is light and it gets absorbed very quickly. The product is specifically for normal to combination skin. It provides the necessary moisturization the skin needs without making it oily. The product soothes the skin and makes it looks natural. What I like a lot about the product is when I apply it, it gives a soft dewy effect to the face and it stays long. Most of the times, I can dab some mascara, lipstick and I am good to go! The product is paraben free and it is a plus point.

It is claimed that the product can hydrate the skin for 24 hours; I am unsure about it and need a reapplication in the evening to keep the skin healthy looking. The product also soothes the skin and makes it look soft and supple. I didn’t have any breakout using the product considering the fact that my skin is sensitive. So it is suitable for sensitive skin. My husband who has dry skin tried this and it doesn’t really provide enough moisturization. Winters are almost to end; I am not sure how it would work in the colder months but for now, I am in love with the product. I usually apply this only in the morning and I like the way it makes my skin look throughout the day.
