Summer days are finally here and now we surely need some skin-care essentials like refreshing facial mists and soothing cleansing wipes! I got some really nice cleansing wipes which seemed to be perfect for my oily skin since it is made for my skin type and it has charcoal too. I don’t know why but I get easily pulled to product made up of charcoal for skin-care but the results are promising. So let’s see how these wipes worked for me.

My Experience with Garnier SkinActive Clean+ Purifying Oil-Free Cleansing Towelettes:

Packaging: The Garnier wipes come in a big glossy black pack with all the details about the product written over it. The pack consist 25 wipes which are really good since continuous usage will show better results on my skin. But when compared to regular drugstore wipes, I found these to be a little expensive but they were totally worth it. The pack is handy for daily travelling but I think it will occupy a lot of space when travelling out of station. It has a little peel over it like the other wipes which has to be pulled out to pick the wipe. The sticky thing over it is also really good because with a lot of wipes, if that sticky peel thing loses its stickiness then all the wipes inside tend to lose their moisture if the pack is left open. So, no such flaws with the packaging!

Texture and feel on the skin: The texture of these wipes is like a honeycomb. I can totally notice that design over the wipes. They are super soft and gentle and are very soothing on the skin. They can be used by people with sensitive skin as well. Initially when I touched these wipes they did not feel wet enough to flawlessly clean my skin. But the results turned out to be brilliant.

Results: The wipes did feel very wet when I used them on my face. They are loaded with moisture and they take off each and everything from my face in just one go. It took away all the excess oil and sebum from my face which revealed the actual glow of my face. It took away all the dirt from my face which I could actually see on the wipe itself. It also got me rid of all the make-up be it water-proof or not in a single go. It might take jut 2 gentle swipes to remove the eye make-up. It left my face squeaky clean and I couldn’t even recognise that I had layers of make-up on! Coming to mattifying my skin, yes it does mattify my skin but not forever. It just keeps the oil at bay for a several hours that’s it. But overall, I have absolutely no complaints regarding these wipes.

• My face is left squeaky clean.
• It does not take more than 30 seconds to show results and thus this thing is great for nights when you are tired to take the make-up off.
• Did not break me out and did mattify my oily skin for a few hours.

Yes absolutely to all the oily-skinned beauties. These are some amazing make-up wipes but I would recommend using them for make-up removal and not for regular use because they are pretty expensive as compared to regular wipes.
