I was searching for a good face cream as my long-term favourite Lacto Calamine lotion got over and I wasn’t going to India for another year 🙁 I came across the Moisture Bomb range and I decided to pick the day and night cream.

The night cream comes in a blue plastic tub with a white screw cap. The tub is packaged in a sealed box which bears all the product related information on it. But, the tub doesn’t have much information about the product. Overall, the packaging is sturdy and travel-friendly.

The cream is light blue in colour, creamy and gel-like. The smell is very pleasant and has a hint of floral and lotus smell. The gel-cream spreads easily and gets absorbed instantly. A pea sized amount is more than enough to spread over the neck and face. It doesn’t leave any residue nor makes your skin greasy. The gel-cream mattifies the skin and makes it soft and smooth. But, as soon as it gets absorbed, you do not feel anything on your face.

The cream doesn’t moisturise my dry skin. It doesn’t even cover or soothe the dry flakes on my skin. I always apply an oil and then use this cream. In the morning, the face looks recharged and fresh and this is not what you expect from an under-rated cream.

The product contains 15% plant serum and thus, I prefer using this as a serum rather than a cream. Initially, I felt this product is a disappointment but after 7 days, I have been noticing some differences every morning. I feel my skin has a lot of moisture and suppleness. The gel-cream also plumps up, restores and nourishes the skin gradually. You can notice significant differences in your skin after 2 weeks and it makes your skin healthy and nourished.

The product contains antioxidants and it improves your skin’s texture really well. The product didn’t cause any breakouts nor irritate the skin making it suitable for women with sensitive skin. I am yet to notice some changes in the fine lines on my face. The product can be a good choice for women with combination skin or oily skin but, for dry skin, this will not work well.
