Garnier Ultra Doux Nourishing Conditioner with Extract of Lime Blossom Review

Garnier+Ultra+Doux+Nourishing+Conditioner+with+Extract+of+Lime+Blossom+Review

I have used Garnier Ultra Doux conditioners on and off since my school/college days, but I stopped coming back to them when I found St. Ives, Herbal Essences, and L’Oreal conditioners.  Recently, I found a variant of Ultra Doux at the local pharmacy and wanted to try it all over again.  When I bought it, all that was on my mind was to use it for “co-washing.”  If you aren’t familiar with co-washing, check out Samantha’s article here  through which I found out how one can wash hair by just using conditioner.  Coming back to the review:

Product Description:

In the perfect recipe for softness and vitality for normal hair, Garnier Ultra Doux has used Lime Blossom known for its softening properties in a detangling cream that blends instantly in your hair.  Results:  Very easy to comb, your hair regains its irresistible softness and shine.  Deeply nourished, it looks simply lustrous.

My Take on Garnier Ultra Doux Nourishing Conditioner with Extract of Lime Blossom:

The first thing I want to talk about this conditioner is its amazing fragrance.  I just love the scent on my hair, its very refreshing and just the way I want my hair to smell – fresh and tangy.  For me, this conditioner is good for co-washing the Samantha way.  I use this for washing my hair on days when my hair is clean.  This doesn’t lather a bit, but I just run it in my hair and move my fingers in a circular motion over my hair.  What I get in return is less frizzy, amazing smelling hair.  This is just an average conditioner which works in detangling hair, making it smooth, so that the comb runs through it easily, but what sets it apart is definitely the fragrance.  Herbal Essences, L’Oreal conditioners have mild scent, but this one I like a lot for leaving the hair smelling good.

Ultra Doux

  1. ultra doux!!!!!! this was the first conditioner i used, reminds me of schooldays 😀 thankoooooz jomol for this review, great pics!

  2. I used to love Ultra Doux for the fragrance but with various new conditioners coming to the market, never re-purchased it after the first few times. Gotta buy one again.

  3. I used to use ultra doux every day! then they introduced fructis (which I hate btw) and never found ultra doux in the market again, thought it was discontinued.

  4. Jomo co washing on days when hair is not too dirty is a great tip. I dont co wash my hair but guess I’d give it a try now. I am loving your reviews these days. Yayyy!!! :))

  5. Hi Jomol..since I am new to co-washing, can you please suggest some good Indian conditioners for co-washing an oily scalp ?
