Hey Everyone!

Grey Purple Eye Makeup Look Tutorial

So, today’s post is a little different since I will not be reviewing any product, but will do a Grey and Purple Eye Makeup Tutorial for you guys. Its been such a long time since I did one, so I figured let me do this combination which I newly discovered and loving it a lot! Its a very wearable look and can be easily worn during day time. So, without any further ado, let’s get started ๐Ÿ™‚

Step 1:

Conceal/Correct/Hide your dark circles by using any concealer you like, I am using the Orange/Yellow corrector from Laura Mercier (review coming up soon ;)) and TheBalm concealer in Medium.

Step 2:

Apply an eyeshadow base or primer, I have used MAC’s paint pot in Soft Ochre which I forgot to photograph.

Step 3:

Apply a cream eyeshadow, preferably grey in color, I have used my favorite Maybelline Color Tattoo in Audacious Asphalt, this will help to enhance the eyeshadow you put on top and also increase the staying power. ย Apply this only on the lids and not in or above the crease. Blend the edges softly using your finger.

Step 4:

Apply a pearl finish grey eyeshadow, I have used Inglot’s 444 here.

Step 5:

Blend the harsh edges using a fluffy brush, I have used Sigma E40.

Step 6:

Apply a warm brown eyeshadow in the outer V as shown and blend it out using a brush similar to MAC 217.

Step 7:

Apply a matte purple eyeshadow in the crease and blend out the edges taking the color only half way in the crease since in the inner corner, we will be adding a highlight shade.

Step 8:

Add a shimmery or pearl finish highlight of your choice, make sure the highlight has pink or silver undertones to match with our lid color, I have used Inglot 399 pearl here.
