Okay, if we were to name top 5 best friends (materialistically) that girls may have, what would they be according to you? Mine would be Chocolates…lots and lots of chocolates, a reliable Kohl, a Mills n Boons romance( ok I admit I am a stereotype’s ), a comfy couch to potato on 😉 and a good fragrance to keep me in a happy mood 😀 Oh wait wait…I want a puppy too!! 😛
Well today, I bring to you ladies, one of my favorite fives – a fragrance! It is the Gucci Rush.Read on to know more about it!

Product Claims:
This is Gucci’s second fragrance for women. Gucci Rush is a very attractive and recognizable fragrance, impulsive and irresistible, just like love at first sight. The name of the fragrance “Rush” reminds of simulative drug, very widespread in America during 1980s. The fragrance is composed like a luscious exotic floral cocktail: Californian gardenia, South African freesia, jasmine and Turkish rose. Coriander, vanilla and patchouli emphasize the oriental character and uniqueness of this fragrance.
The top notes are gardenia and freesia; the heart is created of jasmine, Turkish rose and coriander, the dry down unites vanilla, patchouli and votive. The fragrance has a lingering trace that follows the woman and surrounds her from all sides. The perfume was created by Michel Almairac in 1999.
My Experience with Gucci Rush Eau De Toilette Spray :
This EDT comes in an intensively siren red bottle .It has the shape of a video cassette tape, a very unusual and modern design feel it is very compact and travel friendly. Plus, it is easy to store as well! Now for the fragarance. It is loud, heavy, and eclectic. Kind of in your face fragrance like Gerlain Insolent maybe?
Gucci Rush is a very strong fragrance, it has notes of freesia for me, very strong patchouli too and powdery settle down of vanilla musk maybe. It is the kind of fragrance which may be loved by some and absolutely hated by the others.
Also, you just cannot judge it by merely sniffing it. A lot has to do with body chemistry in this case. When I sniffed it first, I was like whoa! This is just too strong and out there! But since I had spritzed some on my wrist and happened to sniff it after an hour or so, it smelt really divine.
The staying power of this fragrance is not very great. I feel that it is just a little too much for day time or for formal wear. It sure as hell will get you noticed, but maybe not for the best reasons always!What works great with this fragrance is that if you feel it is very strong, just sprits a bit on fresh washed hair and it will stay with you like an aura, without being too overpowering.Another tip is, please make 1000% sure not to go overboard with this fragrance. It is really not everybody’s cup of tea!
