Today’s review will be on a product that I’ve been looking for ever since I read reviews by Chayanti Mukerjee. The word Body serum is so intriguing that I started looking for it everywhere. I’m so happy that I got one to review. Let’s get started!

My Experience with H Bella By Watsons Verbena and Malted Barley Body Serum:
This Body Serum comes packed in a very reflective packaging. It is very difficult to click pictures with this type of packaging especially when you don’t have anybody to help you with it. Anyway, I managed to click fairly decent pictures. It has a silver reflective packaging with a shiny black flip cap. The details are printed in black on the back side. The tube is filled with the serum to the brim and that is why whenever you open the flip cap, the serum oozes out and makes the usage, slightly messy. Hence, you have to be careful while removing the flip cap.
The serum is a transparent fluid which isn’t too runny or thick. The consistency is gel like serum that is super light. It gets absorbed into the skin within seconds and it feels extremely light. You don’t feel the heaviness of this serum at all. It’s like you’ve applied nothing at all! It is slightly cooling on the skin and doesn’t make your skin sweat. It is kind of similar to my Lotus Herbals Matte Sunscreen Gel but, this is even lighter than that.
This serum has a lovely but strong fragrance. I really love the fragrance a lot and it smells like an expensive perfume. It is very strong initially but, when you massage it into your skin, it fades quickly. The fragrance barely lasts for 5 minutes and then you don’t smell anything at all. I wish the fragrance lasted longer because you wouldn’t need a perfume then!
The serum moisturises my skin really well yet it is super light! This is one thing that I absolutely love about this product. It’s perfect for Mumbai summers as it doesn’t make me sweaty or greasy or oily. It makes my skin feel super soft and hydrated. So far, I really love this product!

- None actually! Although I really wish the fragrance lasted longer!
