Hair & Care’s Silk-n-Shine

Hello! IMBB Ladies…

Every woman has to put up with frizzy, tangled, dull, dry & rough hair. That’s why every woman needs Silk-n-Shine to experience the luxury of hair that shines like rich silk.
So, here I present Hair & Care’s Silk-n-Shine potion.

Hair & Care Silk n Shine

The company says- Enriched with Fruit-Vitamins, it works naturally to soften dry, dull, frizzy & damaged hair. In a matter of minutes, Silk-n-Shine erases the harmful effect of dust, prolonged exposure to sunlight, chemicals & hard water, with its unique action and instantly gives you parlor-like silky hair.

No matter what your hair-type is, Silk-n-Shine can set it free from almost every hair problems. So don’t let hair problems tear you and your hair apart. Fall in love with your hair again.

Directions for Use- Pour a coin-sized amount on your palm, apply on damp hair and gently comb through.

Ingredients- Cyclomethicone, Vitamin E, Fruit extracts & Fragrance.

Price/Quantity- INR 80/50ml & INR 37/18ml. (Quite reasonable)

Silk-n-Shine is a hair-serum, means its not an oi. It is best described as a viscous oil, that gets absorbed completely when applied to hair. It doesn’t leave any stickiness or wetness behind.

Smell- As it contains fruit extracts, it has a very pleasant fruity odour. Non-allergic and safe for sensitive skin.

Packaging- It comes in a transparent bottle with a flip top opening, which makes the product hygienic. The outer carton is orangish in color (Quite attractive).

Pros of Hair & Care Silk n Shine

• The product definitely adds smoothness & silkiness to the hair, further pushing my cuticles down which makes the visibility of split-ends lesser. Even if you don’t apply conditioner to your hair.
• It detangles my hair, which means no hair-breakage. Now I can move my fingers on my hair and feel the difference.
• Its very decently priced. The bottle of 50ml should last about a month which means Rs 80/per month.
• Few drops of the product is all to make your look beautiful and wavy.
• Fruit smell is indeed a plus point (atleast for me). I am a person who likes product to smell good.

Cons– Hmmm… I couldn’t think of anything.

Final Verdict- It’s a wonderful product compared to other hair-serums I have used. Its awesome.

Will I re-purchase it- Of course Yes, and I will even recommend this to all the ladies out there. Do try it and let me know.

Nice review Anupama..I also have this product and I love it for the work it does in taming my hair. But, I want to add a point here. The product has silicone in it and silicone has its own drawbacks of building on the hair..It is not water soluble and if you persist over-usage of it, it might make your hair dull and rough after a long time. So, just use the product only when it is absolute necessary that too in small amounts. :) :)

Actually you are right Cali….any product name that ends with ‘cone’ has silicone derivatives….and Cyclomethicone is one of them, but in a much milder form and less harmful one..
