I live in a small town in Michigan, USA. I basically have rough and thick curly hair!!! From the time I have started straightening my hair, I noticed that hair is losing its quality. The more I do, the worst it gets. The problem is I have very long hair and it’s getting difficult for me to straighten it every other day!!!
I have two questions here, can I get hair smoothening treatment done here? or in India? I might be in India for Christmas. If I have to do it in India, can anyone suggest me some temporary methods to get rid of frizzy hair?
Secondly, if I can go for the treatment here, how much would it cost? I have very long hair, it goes down my waist. I heard that it would cost according to the length of the hair and I am not ready to cut my hair!!! Would anyone suggest me any place for such a treatment? As I am new in US and do not know much about these things.

I have been facing same issue since some time and what i am currently doing to cure it is this:
Mix 45ml Olive oil, 45 ml Almond oil and 10ml castor oil together.The oil will be very greasy and thick but that is what works. Use it twice a week. Its been a month i have been following this and my hair fall has reduced plus my hair feels less frizzy. Though i have my hair in very bad condition but it for sure is working for me.

Hi Sravani, Everyone face this bad hair problem. Oiling the hair twice a week as suggested by Purva is the best solution, I would say. If you want any treatments, you can go for Keratin treatment in ULTA/same other saloon. I am not sure about Michigan area but generally it would cost around $100 for long hair. and I have heard from my friends that the smoothing effect stays for 3-6months depending on how you maintain. goodluck.!!!
