Hamdard Roghan Badam Shirin

Hellooooooooo Beauties  Today, I am going to share my views about a product that all of you should purchase to get maximum benefits in as natural way as possible. I bought this product just to apply on my lashes to make them bear the tortures of applying kajals and mascara without hampering their charm. Today, I’m reviewing this product Hamdard Roghan Badam Shirin because I discovered many of its uses and reaping its benefits for nearly one-and-half years. :happydance:

Packaging:
It’s the smallest pack. Larger packs are also available.

My Experience with Hamdard Roghan Badam Shirin:

Like I said, I bought this extra virgin almond oil after reading from Shanaz Hussain’s beauty tips that almond oil promotes healthy lashes. I preferred extra virgin over Bajaj Almond Drops or Dabur’s almond hair oil respecting my eyes, the products above mentioned are formulated for hair and have high mineral oil content and special fragrances. :spank:

For more than a year, I used this product on my lashes and I was happy with the results, it nourished them pretty well. As I used it in my eyes, I tried to minimize its contamination, so I didn’t use it for any other purpose. Then, I skipped using this for some 2 months. When I again switched back to this bottle, it smelled like bittery old oil rather than smelling soft and typically of this one. I discontinued using it on my lashes since then, but I was left with around three-fourth of the oil. Then, I started using it on my brows, hair, in thickening the consistency of my lotion for extreme dry areas.

Now that winters are approaching, I mix a few drops of it to my regular moisturizer of my body. As I have oily facial skin, I don’t dare to use it on my face despite of it having noticeable benefits. I benefitted from this oil in nourishing
• my hands for these days when the winters are prevailing.
• as cuticle massage oil.
• on dried and somewhat but not cracked heels.
• in softening my hands.
• on lips at night (only when my lip balm is missing in my room which is in sixes and sevens :silly: ).
• instilled few drops nasally for curing headache (desi nuskha :manicure: ).
• a few drops of it thickens light body lotion’s consistency just apt for winters accordingly.
• as body massage oil.

The results are very much visible. :woot: I apply it on my hands with just a small drop with my regular Pond’s body lotion to cover its bittery smell for almost a month and voila my hands are much softer to touch, smoother in feel and texture and my nails also became visibly whiter. I am attaching my recent nail snap compare, it with my yellow nails in the above images.

Nails

Touching my soft hands for so many days, now my friends have also started using this at night.

Likes of Hamdard Roghan Badam Shirin

• Nourishes skin and hair.
• Improves body, mental ability when taken internally.
• Extra virgin oil, 100% pure.
• You need to smell it too hard as its almost fragrance free :yahoo:
• Multipurpose oil, you can explore its uses.
• Unani medicine as mentioned on the pack.

Dislikes of Hamdard Roghan Badam Shirin

Only con is no mention of expiry date which is roughly around 2-and-a-half years.

Will I Repurchase?
Yes, in fact, I have repurchased :yahoo: :yahoo:.

I have tried this on my under eye area! My skin is really dry, and my under eye area, being no exception to that, is really dry too. I started using this a month ago, every night before bed, and I can see that my skin has improved drastically. No difference to my dark circles (but then they aren’t that bad for me to be able to tell when they lighten), but the skin there is much firmer and smoother than it was before! :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo: :yahoo:
And I’ve never tried this on my lashes – for that I use castor oil :-P

Keirti October 27, 2011 at 3:58 pm

well i feel any pure oil like sesame almond olive n castor can be used on lashes… if it gets inside your eyes dnt worry abt tears… this oil (almond) is just flushing out impurity from eye… i read it smwhr :haanji: :haanji: :haanji: :haanji:

This is the BEST thing in beauty care ever after nice-smelling body lotions. :woot: :woot: :woot: I don’t understand why it didn’t work on Samantha’s dark circles but for me, it was a miracle cure. Being a late sleeper, I’ve resembled a Panda too often to count and this little bottle is what changed it for me. :preen: I massage my under eye area with it every night and I got my mum hooked on to it too. She says it’s better than her newfangled anti-aging under eye cream. :D :D I even pour a drop or two in my body lotion especially for winters.

Jabberwocky! Good to see you again! :)
How long did you use it for before your dark circles showed any improvement? I’m using this for a month now, and no difference :((
Or maybe my dark circles are actually sheer tattoos created by the minions of some Evil Dark Agent, and they live in a secret compartment in the side of my bed and come out at night when I’m all drooly over my pillow. :|

The expiry date is not mentioned for this because I think it’s an ayurvedic product. And ayurvdic products don’t have an expiry date mentioned. You can check up if you want.
