Since I am so paranoid about sun tanning, I bought Equate Sport Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50, but I had to return that and purchased this lotion instead. Read the review and find out if this one could impress me or not!

My Experience with Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch Ultra Radiance Lotion Sunscreen SPF 30:

Removing tan is a royal pain in the neck and it’s better to shield one’s skin against sun than trying a million things to remove tan. Also, it’s almost impossible to remove the permanent damage caused by sun. We can avoid that entire nightmare just by including an excellent sunscreen lotion in our daily beauty regime. One can invest in an expensive lotion for face and neck and not so pricey one for other body parts. This lotion is one such cheap, yet, effective lotion that I purchased to protect my precious skin.

Packaging:
I love the packaging of this product. It’s a rectangular bottle with curves on the side and flat bottom so that it can be stored upright. It has a flip cap which seals a small hole that dispenses a dollop of cream at a time.

Texture:
It looks and feels like a winter lotion. It is not thick like a body butter, but not runny like summer lotion either. However, despite being thick, it gets easily absorbed into the skin and does not leave any oily layer or white cast behind. It is easy to work with and blends well.

Fragrance:
It has a very subtle coconut – cocoa fragrance and is very pleasant to olfactory senses. However, it is not long lasting and vanishes after few minutes.

Wear Time:
Like with other lotions, this has to be worn 15 minutes before sun exposure and reapplied every two hours. I obviously don’t follow the second instruction, but it still does a good job at protecting my skin against tanning. After using this under the sun, I don’t get obvious tan lines when I wear shorts or racer back tops. But, best part is that it is not oily or greasy and does not make one feel uncomfortable under the scorching heat.

Conclusion:
This is a good lotion that acts as a shield against sun. Also, it has nice texture and lovely fragrance. And, the best part? It protects the skin from sun damage and tanning very well.

This will last me an entire summer or even more; so, I won’t have to purchase it again for a while. But, I recommend it to the readers who need an excellent sunscreen lotion for summers.
