My Take on Herbal Essences Colour Me Shiny Shine Enhancing Conditioner:

The first thing that attracts me towards Herbal Essences stuff is their wave-shaped bottles with the green press top cap.  This conditioner comes in a pink wavy bottle with a very feminine look.  The consistency is thick and creamy like most other conditioners and looks slightly pinkish.  The smell is just so amazing.

The product claims to have rose extracts and the product has a heavenly floral fragrance.  Though the smell is awesome, it lingers only for a while and then its gone. The moment I apply it, I feel as if I am in a bed of flowers and later, where does it go?

Now, coming to the most important point of this conditioner, the shine enhancing part, it actually does nothing!! I was happier with my “Hello Hydration” range. I have really dry and frizzy hair and the “Hello Hydration” range gave a healthy moisture lock to it. On the contrary, this conditioner made my hair look dry with no shine at all.

Conditioner

Though it did not add any shine, it made my hair soft and smooth. But again, the next day, it made my hair look very thin and my wavy hair looked limp 🙁

What’s Not-So-Good about Herbal Essences Colour Me Shiny Shine Enhancing Conditioner:

  • In no way does it enhance or add shine, therefore not true to its claims.
  • Weighs down the hair.
  • Makes hair look dry.
  • Loaded with chemicals.

Will I Repurchase Herbal Essences Colour Me Shiny Shine Enhancing Conditioner?

Never.

Final Verdict on Herbal Essences Colour Me Shiny Shine Enhancing Conditioner:

If you are looking for a conditioner that enhances shine of your hair, then don’t ever think about this one. It not just dries out your hair, but weighs down them and gives them a limp look. The only good thing is the smell, and again that stays for a very short time. This conditioner did not give me the results I was looking for, so no way, I would recommend this conditioner to anyone.
