Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Conditioner-Review

Hello All!!

Today I am here to review the conditioner from Herbal Essence-“Hello Hydration”. The name itself attracted all my attention towards it. I went ahead and saw that it has extracts from coconut and orchid, I thought oh! That is such a lovely combination and without giving it second thought I opened IMBB on my cell to read the review, but only Hello Hydration Shampoo was reviewed, which had good ratings; so I bought the conditioner to try.

Herbal Essence Hello Hydration Conditioner claims:

This moisturizing hair conditioner is deliciously hydrating. Why not give your dry hair a drink? I say you can never get too much of a good thing. So say “hello” to a deep dousing of lush hydration with my rich formula. I’ve got moisturizers and a fusion of Hawaiian coconut and orchid. Drink up and replenish much needed moisture. This hair conditioner will reunite you with manageable, silky, smooth hair.

Packaging:

The Herbal Essence new range has curvy upside down bottles of shampoo and conditioner. It has a bubble gum blue colour and is very attractive and feminine in looks.

My experience with Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner:

I have dry hair and I am always looking for new products that could be useful. Confident words written on the bottle (one that I have mentioned in claims) made me bought this one. The conditioner is in very light pale blue color and of medium thick consistency. I am using it from last 2 months and I have not noticed any considerable difference, infarct it tangles my hair and thus leads to hair fall. There is one thing that I still like about this product, which is that it smells gorgeous-the coconut fruity smell is simply beyond any explanations.

Pros of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner:

• Beautiful coconut-vanilla smell.
• Affordable and decently-priced for 180ml.
• Little quantity goes a long way.
• Herbal coconut, orchid and vanilla extracts.
• I liked the upside down curvy packaging of the bottle.

Cons of Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner:

• Does not hydrate hair.
• Loads and loads of chemicals.
• Did not make hair manageable.
• Weighs hair down and makes hair bit oily.
• Difficult to rinse it off. :(

IMBB rating:

2.5/5

Will I repurchase Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner?

NO, may be some other one from herbal essence family.

Do I recommend Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner?

Hmmm!! For those of you like coconut smells, may give it a shot. But if you need hydration or moisture and then bid farewell to this product.

I hope you like the review. See you next time :)

I have been using both the shampoo and conditioner for 2 years now and never wanna look back( although my conditioner is ‘moisturising’ and not ‘moisture & shine’)

The scent, results and everything is just amazing. Although i must mention this, there are two types available in the market, one is the Thai version which suited me (guess coz its made for asian hair) and the American version which made my hair so dry i used the shampoo as a hand wash instead :-|

So do see which import you are buying, my hair type is very thin n dry to normal and i absolutely love these products :)

Oops !
My experience is different. I have very dry hair , and this conditioner actually hydrates them.
I love the packaging, color, smell and the creamy touch.
It doesn’t weighs my hair down , they feel soft and so manageable.
This is one product I can swear off .. I am using it since winters 2011.
I have also used it as a mask, kept in hair for 10-15 min then rinsed off.

The only problem is Hello Hydration family is not easily available. I once bought 3 bottles together , because I know it won’t be available near my neighborhood.
