How are you all doing today? For me, am feeling a little down today because I have switched to ‘no carbs/sugar diet‘, and I don’t know why but it is making me feel a little weak. Anyway, I will be sharing my experience with a tousling mousse from Herbal Essences. I bought this a while back and liked it to some extent. This product is my companion for bad hair days or when I don’t have much time do my hair, but I want some styling. So, let’s learn about the product more!

Claims:
Our lightweight tousling mousse helps whip up oh-so-touchable frizz-free waves. Evoke feelings of a tropical retreat with our exotic hibiscus fragrance as you create a wavy, touchable, beach-inspired style.

Ingredients:
Water, Isobutane, Propane, Polyquaternium 4, Propylene Glycol, C9 11 Pareth 8, Fragrance, DMDM Hydantoin, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid

How it Works:
Shake so that the hair styling mousse foams. Work the mousse through your damp hair. Twirl and scrunch your hair to your heart’s content, then dry your hair on low heat until you reach perfect imperfection!

My Experience with Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse:

Previously, I had really bad experience with one of the shampoos from Herbal Essences, so I stayed away from this brand. But recently, my friend was raving about this mousse and I finally decided to get it. I bought with level 2 hold and used it couple of times. I prefer using it when my hair is damp and then let it air-dry, although it says to use it with a hair dryer. So, it’s just my choice of not using a hair dryer because I have pretty thin hair and don’t want to torture my hair with heat tools.

Now, it does live up to the fact of giving frizz-free waves and it makes hair look lustrous and healthy. Although, after few hours of styling, it makes hair little stiff which makes combing difficult. This can be annoying because it takes lot of effort and can break hair strands as well. For me, I had to take good quantity of this product to get the curls I desired.

The scent of this mousse is unbelievably amazing; I love it to the core. The exotic hibiscus fragrance is such a delight for your hair and will stick around almost the whole day.

Cons of Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse:

• Large quantity of product is required at a time
• Makes hair a little stiff
• People with absolute straight hair might not get desired curls

I prefer to take this product with me on vacations because I can create amazing wavy curls instantly. It is really handy and saves me from bad hair days. Using this mousse is quite a simple process and you don’t have to deal with any kind of mess. I used it a day after I straightened my hair, and it gave me loose curls. But, when I used it on my wet hair, the curls came out better. I already have a little wavy hair, so cannot say if it is a good buy for people with extremely straight hair.

Overall, I like this mousse and it gives me incredible, wavy hair. For the price it is sold at, it does a pretty good job and will make your hairstyle last the entire day.

Would I Repurchase Herbal Essences Tousle Me Softly Tousling Mousse?
Yes, until I find a better product for creating curls than this.
