Hoarding lip balms is a habit that refuses to die 😀 Bought a few lip balms and here’s a quick review of one of the cuties.

What It Does:

My Experience with Himalaya Natural Soft Vanilla Lip Care:

These lip balms are twist up forms which makes application super easy. The swivel mechanism is improved and very efficient indeed. Because the former packaging was kinda flimsy and the stick used to swivel back during every application. Good they’ve improved it. The pretty cream colored cap shuts tightly with a very satisfying click. Very travel friendly indeed.

The lip balm stick is cream colored. You’d obviously expect a sweet vanilla fragrance. But very untrue to the name, this smells like bubblegum! I am not a big fan of it and it is kinda bothering for my liking. This does not impart any color to the lips.

The texture of this lip balm is a bit on the heavier side. But it is not sticky or waxy at all. Neither does it feel heavy on lips nor does irritate. The texture adds to the longevity. It lasts for about 2.5-3 hours with some sipping of water inbetween. Even baby lips don’t last on me for long but this does. Both cocoa butter variant and this one are similar in terms of texture. Just like the cocoa butter one even this one moisturizes the lips very effectively. It does feel rich indeed. Lips are left smooth and soft at the end of the day. Little flaws are that the ingredient list is not mentioned, which is a bit odd and the bubblegummy smell. Other than those I like it.

Would I Recommend/Repurchase Himalaya Natural Soft Vanilla Lip Care?
Though I was expecting a nice vanilla fragrance, performance wise I think it does a fair job. Recommended.
