My Take on Himalaya Soothing Body Lotion for Dry Skin:
I think this is my first lotion from Himalaya; I’ve never tried one before. The lotion comes in a white colored bottle with a green cap that has a flip top. The opening dispenses the required amount of the product without any fuss. The details are given at the reverse side of the bottle. It is sturdy, not bulky and travel-friendly.
The lotion is white in color. The consistency is good; it is neither heavy or sticky nor runny. I really like how easily it spreads on skin. The best thing about this lotion I noticed was how easily it gets absorbed on skin and feels invisible. These hot baths that I take for the cold tend to make my skin itchy and dry. I apply this lotion all over right after my bath and it just restores the moisture making my skin smooth and soft. It smells ammmmazing!! The fragrance is not very heavy; I really love it. The aroma lingers all day.
I’ve come across lotions that make my skin sticky and feel heavy but this one worked beautifully for me. I have normal skin that tends to be dry in the winter and it did a fair job of moisturizing it. It feels extremely light and invisible too. I’m not sure how it may work for oily and extremely dry skin. It says it is meant for dry skin though. On the negative side, it contains parabens which was a slight disappointment. Other than that, there was nothing wrong with this purchase and now I am not able to live without this lotion!
